I actually send a PM Message one of to the CapCom employees through their forums, 3 weeks ago. I asked the following; 'Are there any plans that we'll see Phoenix and Maya again in any future game?... The answer was something like this: 'The producers already know that fans are quite attached to Phoenix and Maya, so you never know what they'll come up with (maybe something more as friends) ;)'
And this was on the Europe Capcom forums, a year ago. (probably you guys already seen it sometime, though)

I remember hearing a while ago something similar to this. We definitely have to start making alot more noise to get Capcom to notice us!

Aye, either the capcom-unity forums or the Europe one. I have PM'd both. ;x Although the one of Europe is easier to contact. If you PM the Community Manager (named Tenebra or something like that) there, you'll get a response the same day. (or next day) She'll even if you ask nicely, ask about the thoughts of a producer of a game about your concern/idea or propose whatevah you want to see in (x) game. They regularly interview a producer with questions from their community too.
Still though, the best would be someone who can read Japanese so we can contact their headquarter! someone gogoo http://www.capcom.co.jp/ !

Everybody remembers the 'card/picture' evidence at the end of 2-4 which is proof how much Phoenix means to Maya, which never returned in game 3.
BUT I think I've uncovered what's probably its 'metaphoric' return along with Franziska in 3-5!!!!!!

Uh.. not sure about the community managers we're supposed to contact, but I know Capcom US has forums http://www.capcom-unity.com where I guess you communicate from. On another note, we're the non-Japanese fanbase. They couldn't care less about our opinions. Or at least Namco doesn't...I wanted Tales of Destiny 2, and that psx2 remake...T-T
We'll just have to hope it ends up Nick/Maya. Or assume it does, because it's the most likely route.

I see the ring looking like a normal ring. But going back to how Phoenix would propose, which Logical-Naba brought up...hmm, I wonder. A "ring-in-food" idea would be risky because of Maya's tendancy to devour things, haha XD; but I also think it'd be cute. <3
