Do you think anybody would be interested in adopting them? The final versions will have different colored backgrounds, cute animation (probably just blinking, maybe a moving heart)... I can't decide on what the text should be.
Since I want these sprites to be special I was hoping to only have them available on the 5th... and then if anyone wants one after the 5th they could just request it (I'll also be doing different characters).
Would "I adopted this on September 5th, 2009 - Phoenix and Maya Day" be too cheesy?

BUT I drew concept art of my 'essay' before. If that makes any sense. [Title: "Maya! I've found you!" It helps me think up this stuff] One day I'll draw a DECENT version, aka using refs and actually planning it instead of scribbling randomly.... Should I post it?

Well! I've got three colors done. If anybody wants a different color just ask (post or PM me or something)
I couldn't do the blinking unfortunately so I'm just providing a bunch of different options.
A few rules before you adopt:
1) Don't claim these as your own
2) Don't remove my signature
3) Leaving a link to my profile would be very nice but it isn't required. I'll eventually make my own board for these and then people can link to that but again, as long as you leave my signature in I think people will figure out how to find me
4) Keep in mind the BASE is not mine. If you're telling people about my sprites (which is perfectly fine ^w^) don't tell them I made the bases. I don't want to get in trouble! The credit of the base goes to KawaiiHannah
If anyone is curious about the name title format, here's an explanation:
All the titles begin with "nam". Meaning "Nick and Maya". When I make other sprites such as "Klavier and Ema" it will be "kae" and such. After that there are 4 choices: o, mc, pc, bc. They mean Open, Maya's Eyes are Closed, Phoenix's Eyes are Closed, and Both Their Eyes are Closed. And then after that is just the color of the background.
Boring I know but I like putting random facts in my posts ^__^
I think someone asked me earlier whether I've made any more characters: no I haven't, but I sure plan to C:

-It's the first, duh. Hopefully we've raised enough awareness so that next year's is even better, but the amount of people that took notice this year in itself is awesome.
- Maya's should technically be 10 years old at this point. There's no P/M without Maya, and you know you love Maya by herself anyways.
-It's about 10 years until Nick and Maya (probably) get together. 2019 FTW!
-Hmm...If we do P/M Week next year, I'm going to try to have a "1 fanfic a day" thing going throughout the week, which would be pretty cool. Also, somebody could do a seven-chapter fic on the days leading up to Nick and Maya's wedding, and then post a chapter a day. August 30th- September 5th: 7 Days of awesome!
We should probably try to get this topic to page 90 before the day ends. It shouldn't be too hard.
