The pond was active with life there were dragonflies,ducks, and the occasional frog. There was a bench near it and he sat down and invited Maya to sit down beside him. The trees were plentiful in this part of the park it was like a miniature forrest. The trees made a canopy of green that made a shadow to hide anyone from the harsh sunlight. A couple of Blue Jays. ((lol get the pun?)) A few flowers were scattered across the landscape. He was able to pick a lilly near by. He'd give it to Maya later as a gift. It had a purplish-blue tint to it.

"Wow," Maya said. "This place...It's beautiful." She took in the fresh scent she usually didn't get in the city. She sat next to Kristoph. "Er...Kris? Do you ever feel like today's just been a really good dream, and you'll wake up tomorrow and realize this was all just a fantasy? Because that's how I felt a few times."

"Well I can assure this isn't a dream." He smiled at the thought and handed her the lilly. "If this really were a dream then how would you be able to feel...this?" he asked kissing her. He had put the lilly into her hair. The atmosphere had a relaxing mood to it. He then had felt a drop on his shoulder. It seemed to have began to sprinkle. Some of the water droplets had accumulated on his glasses. He had desided to take his glasses off since the rain kept staining his glasses.

"Well, I take your word for it, I--" Maya began before Kristoph leaned in and kissed her. Once again, she kissed back, this time even reaching around his head in an attempt to hold him there. The raindrops that fell on Maya's head made her want to laugh. She was just thinking of that song.

As his head was held by Maya it made him all the more affectionate. The kiss was long and passionate, the rain got heavier making his long,blonde locks fall out disorganized on his shoulders. He wanted to laugh how he was now soaked. It didn't really matter, it was how on one of those romance movies how you'd have a couple kissing in the middle of a perfect storm. The sky may have been grey, but the rain brung happiness intsead of a gloomy mood. He had pulled away a little, looking into her eyes with a bright smile. "You know you have the most beautiful eyes." he replied slightly panting after the long kiss. Sure, it was random yet to him it was the truth.

Maya was blushing by the time Kristoph pulled away. She stared into his eyes dumbly, and saw the smile in them.
"You know you have the most beautiful eyes," he said. Maya blushed even deeper at this.
"Th-thanks," she stuttered. Maya smiled back as she tried to come up with something to say to him. There were so many compliments swirling around in her head, it was hard to pin-point just one to say. And she was terrible when it came to that sort of thing. "You are the most handsome man..." Kristoph had heard her compliment he smiled back at her. "Well thank you." he replied slyly. He could see how Maya was gaining a pinkish hue. "Well that's good to hear...you seem a bit tence why don't you sit down?" he asked motioning her to sit down beside him. I wonder what she's worried about. She seems a bit too tence. "Would you like a bowl of noodles? I can buy you some if you'd like." he offered. He was concerned for Iris from the look of it, she seemed to have a lot on her mind. Then again he had a lot on his mind too. After that case when he was last a lawyer he had remembered how Iris had feelings towards him.

He had noticed that it was getting a little too crisp for his liking and he had wondered if Maya was cold. Why were the elements showing no mercy? He then desided that it would be rude to let Maya out in the cold without something to keep her warm so he had done what any man in a relationship would do. He had taken off his periwinkle jacket and had wrapped it around her hoping it would offer some protection from the elements. "I was thinking that you would be a bit cold out here in the rain. I hope my coat will keep you warm." he spoke smoothly.

When Laurence came up to feenie and asked "Uhm, could ya maybe explain the whole you having a teenage daughter after I last saw you... Which was two months ago making it physically impossible?" Iris' heart froze. She almost blacked out and her hand flew in front of her mouth, but she remained stable and listened to what Phoenix had to say, not uttering a breath.

Trucy wondered who the timid lady her papa was talking to was. He seemed to know her, and she could "percieve" (as daddy called it) all of her nervous habits with ease. Why did she seem so nervous...?
When the strange man ran up and yelled at her papa she smartly remarked: "Because i'm ADOPTED. duh."
The poor lady sitting across from her seemed to be having a heart attack....

"Oh Trucy is my adopted daughter." he laughed. He then noticed how Iris looked shocked. He then noticed Iris was looking a bit uneasy...no even that was a bit of an understatement. "Well I'll go get some noodles for us. Then we can all catch up on old times. Sound like a good idea?" he asked. He then went off to retrieve 3 bowls of noodles from the stand. "4 bowls of your finest Mr. Eldoon." he said while reaching for some bills in his pocket. As he purchrchaced the noodles he then brought them over to the table. He had set a bowl by Iris, one by Larry, one for Trucy, and finally one for himself.

"So Larry, Iris how has everything been going?" he asked. He had wanted to start seeing what they had been up too. He hadn't seen Larry in forever. And he didn't want to burden Iris seeing as she seemed a bit hurt or in deep thought about something. Maybe it was the fact he had a daughter. He knew that it did some how disturb people how he had a daughter. That was until he had explain she was adopted. "Oh I'm still single by the way. I don't know how I'm able to do it but with my piano playing I'm able to get though life." he said.

Maya...right she's with Kristoph. Where are they?! "She's with Kristoph. I don't really know where they are." he said. It was hard for him not to worry about Maya. Then again she was with a serial killer...who also poisoned a young girl...and had framed him for forging evidence. Argh. If he laid one hand on her I am going to...! he paused at the thought knowing he was told to "behave". That still wasn't going to stop him from finding them both. Yet he couldn't be rude to Iris or Larry.

"Of coarse." he said while trying to keep himself calm. Don't worry as long as Trucy and Maya have a good hold on him he won't try to attack you like the last time. "I am pretty sure he's already worried about us now." he chuckled. He then walked along side Maya as they went back to the Noodle Stand to inform Wright about the festival. Kristoph in his mind was a bit reluctant to do so yet he had to do this for Maya. And to assure Wright that he hadn't done anything to harm her. He then recalled that Maya was still wearing his jacket. Well Wright isn't going to be very fond of me if he did know about that. Although I' think he'd be more concerned about the Festival.

The judge saw that Phoenix and the others didn't seem to need him around anymore. So, he casually got up and walked over to Thalassa.

Maya strode ahead of Kristoph, purposely trying to get there first. She didn't know if she'd be able to stop Phoenix again. It just about broke her heart to have to stand up to him the first time. And now...While she'd do it again if she had to, she wasn't sure it would have much of an affect. Once she got to the noodle stand, she saw Larry, Iris, Trucy, and Phoenix all sitting together. She sighed and walked over to them.
"Hey, Nick," Maya said. "Um...Kristoph wants to take me to a Stargazing Festival. Just so you know where I'll be, I mean, I know you'd be really worried if we just left with no warning."

Reluctantly, he knew he had to comply or he'd look like the bad guy. "Alright. Just try not to wonder too far." he said. He had made it sound like "stay near my sight in case he tries anything funny". He still didn't trust Kristoph to be anywhere near Maya. He wondered how she even did come to like his rival. Either way as much as he disliked the fact that they were together, he still wanted to make sure that Maya was happy.

"We'll try not to." he said. He was at least polite to Wright he wasn't about to let his inner rage get the better of him. Like the last time in court. The sun had begun to set even lower and the sky was getting dark. "Well it sould start soon. I suggest we should get there now before it gets crowded." he advised. The Stargazing Clearing was just a little southwest of the noodle stand. The best spot to see the stars was under a tree on a hill. This spot was close enough to the noodle stand yet far enough to have a bit of privacy. He had then lead Maya to the spot and the moon began to rise in the horizon.

"Yeah. We'll be sure not to be too far away," Maya said before Kristoph led her to the Stargazing Clearing. She drew in a huge breath as the moon began to rise, making things seem to glow with its pale light. She blushed slightly. It's just the moon. No big deal, Maya thought.

"Well it's no where near as beautiful as you." he said. The sight of the full moon was mezorizing and the wind was blowing ever so gentily. The cool breeze had made the branches of the tree sway as if it were dancing in the moonlight. Fireflies were emerging from their homes and had added their luminious glow to the clearing. The stars were shining their brightest and the sky was at last clear of the grey clouds. The smell of dew was present due to the previous shower and had an intoxicating aroma to it. "Out of all of the times I have been here it's never been as wonderful as this." he said gazing upwards towards the moon.

"Hmm well this seems like a good night to go star gazing. Iris. Maybe we can go together?" he asked. Sure it had seemed like a date but the night was already perfect. The weather,the sky, and the moon. He wasn't about to pass up on the festival and it was a once in a lifetime event.

"Well, it's no where near as beautiful as you," Kristoph said. Maya blushed. After all those times hearing people say that on episode 47 of The Steel Samurai, someone was actually saying it to her. It was almost like a dream. The scenery, the whether, the moon...It was all so perfect. She was aware that she grabbed Kristoph's hand to make sure this was all real.
"I've never really been here before," Maya admitted. "But this...This is just...More amazing than I could have ever hoped for."

He had felt her hand grasp his and he smiled. "Well I'm glad we were lucky enough to catch the festival on this day." he said. It was true, he had planned his escape to make it on this day since he had remembered the times he had seen this. The sights and sounds brought fourth a wave a nostalgia and had reminded him of the first time he had came here. He may have came alone at those times but now he finally had someone. "I always remembered coming here every year to gaze at the stars. Usually I'd end up going alone but now I'm glad that I finally found someone to be with." he said.

I'm kinda in the pit of the dumps though, so I'm sorry if I may be neglecting this board, I'm in a hard time right now, so please forgive me if I'm not RPing to my full extent... ))A reply to phoenix when he said:

Larry suddenly said, it had been awhile since he last had a relationship, let alone with a model. He finally decided to ask why so much love near a noodle stand. "So, Why are there so many couples near a little old noodle cart? Is there some kind of love inducing ingredient in these noodles?" He said, realizing he'd not even tasted it yet,and with that thought, he gulped down a large mouthful of noodles, "God that's salty! Salty, but strait out delicious! Man, I gotta take note of this place, even though I'm probably gunna have to rule out the love noodles theory. Speakin' do you have any idea of why this place is a hot spot for love?" Larry asked again.

"Well I lost my badge when I was accused for forging evidence. I don't really want Maya to be with Kristoph seeing how he was the one who made me loose my badge, and he also murdered two people and tried to poison a girl named Vera Misham." he explained. "I do have my badge back since I have had my named cleared but so far most of the cases have gone to Apollo. So when I don't have cases I just play piano at the Borsht Bowl Club." he said. "As for love around here. I'm not sure how it got started, but apparently everyone keeps talking about a Dating Service around here." he said.

"Well. Usually it would be on a clear night like this on the day of a full or sometimes cresent moon. People from all over would come to this event and many couples would come to gaze at the stars. I would usually gaze at the stars from this spot. There's also another reason as to why exactly people come here. And that would be to see another beautiful sight. Which should start about...right now." he said. Nearby luminious blueish purple flowers began to bloom and glow. "These flowers are called Heaven's Mirror and bloom once a year. They retain light from the sun and let the contained light out when they bloom at night." he explained.
As the flowers and fireflies added to the visual sonata he held Maya close to him by wrapping an arm around her gentily. It seemed as if nothing could ruin this moment. It was getting a little late and he was wondering if Maya was getting tired. As for him he was getting a bit tired yet he wanted to soak in the moment. The view was absolutely breath taking.
