Jumping slightly in surprise as Maya gave his butt a firm smack, Phoenix's face turned slightly red as she took him by surprise. Rubbing the back of his head as a sudden wave of shyness took over, it had been a while since Maya acted cheeky around him. It was good to relive the old days.
"Maya," Phoenix started, "they're gonna start filming again soon, how about we join the group again?" motioning her to follow, Phoenix headed straight for the table with the grape juice in and poured himself a large glass. He was feeling pretty thirsty from all the tension at lunch, and Miles... If only Miles were here....
Glancing down, he had been drinking out of his cup, but for some reason, the glass tasted funny. He wasn't sure why, but suddenly he was a little light headed. In a nice way. Looking down at the bottle, the label clearly stated that it was grape juice, and not wine... so why was he feeling like this? Was he dehydrated? Pouring another glass full, Phoenix took a large swig before the stage seemed to swim a little.
"Hey..." Phoenix started, pausing for a moment. His voice sounded so odd. Weird. He wondered if it sounded this weird to others also. Glancing over to Zeth, Shelly and Franziska, Phoenix paused to think. Women. Why is it that I have so many women around me, and I fall for a male, like Miles? Taking a swig of the drink, Phoenix smiled with a glazed over look. I once really liked Iris. I wonder if things would've worked out ok if only it weren't for Dahlia... Maybe I just didn't give woman enough on a chance. Glancing around, he was starting to feel a little warm. Putting down the cup, Phoenix stripped off his sweatshirt and tossed it aside. I wonder if Miles would mind if I tried one last time. Plucking out his bottom lip slightly, he kind of understood how Zeth felt. His relationship with Miles was sort of like not having one cause he had to keep it so hidden. If only he could have a relationship he could boast about....

Maggey shook her head, she had spaced out after seeing everyone. She was thinking of what happened in the past but she snapped out of it.
"I wasn't spacing out!" she called as she shook her head. She looked around, she had spaced out for a while. "I've got to get helping."
She decided that she would begin assisting everyone but she hadn't a clue where to start. She looked around and then saw a broom, sweeping I can sweep the floor for starts
She took the broom and began to sweep, she was trying her best but she kept her head looking to ground and wasn't looking up at all. *bump* She'd accidently walked straight into someone, the broom fell aswell.
She took a step back and looked at the person, with her head down she said, "I'm sorry. I'm so so sorry. I'm sorry, I'm just a unlucky person caught in the hurricane of misfortune."
((Anyone can be the person Maggey bumped into and react however they want ok?

"THAT does it," Zeth growled, grabbing Franziska's whip hand with an iron grip, "You've just become more annoying than that mutt of Anthony's and the owner put TOGETHER." Turning Franziska around forcefully, he pushed a sensitive spot on the back of her hand, forcing her to lose grip on the whip, removing it from her possession. Taking a step away from Franziska then, Zeth narrowed his eyes and readied the whip for use. "THIS is not going back to you till you learn how to address a lady. ANY lady. Even one that mistakingly bumps into you. Now I believe her name is... is... Maggey Bryde, correct? Phoenix has defended her a few times. I remember her photo from the case files."

She looked at her arm it had gone red, she loked at Franziska whom she had never met before.

Looking back at Maya, Phoenix started feeling a little woozy. Maybe it was cause he ate something funny at the Japanese story. He wasn’t sure what it was making him feel like this, but for some reason Maya’s face seemed so intriguing all of a sudden.
Stepping a bit closer to Maya, Phoenix tilted his head to the side, and took off his beanie.
"That grapejuice that Zeth got me.... it doesn't taste like grape juice..." Feeling a little unstable on his feet, Phoenix stepped forward a few paces and put his hand against the wall by Maya's head (MYSTERIOUS APPEARING WALL
), leaning over her, still drawn to her eyes.(Domaya- I do alot of RPing in this thread. How about you take the steering wheel on this one :) How far can Maya go before Miles gets to the scene? O.O I say this also, cause it'd be out of character for Phoenix to be proactive in this situation since he's with Miles. He wont say no though ;) ))

Anthony looks at Maya. Doesn't Maya know what goes behind the scenes with Phoenix and Miles.... Wait come to think of it I don't know what those guys do when THEY are alone.... I should do some.... undercover work..... mwahahahahahahaha! Anthony thought as he had a crazed look on his face.

((Actually Anthony... Noone would know about Phoenix x Miles unless they followed him. Zeth only picked up on it cause well... he's a stalker, but he also can read people's emotions. We'll see how long GDM lets it go for before Miles busts in though XD ))
Glancing down at Maya as she kissed his cheek, Phoenix's eyes closed at the feel of her lips. They were alot softer than Miles. Miles always had a sense of urgency about them. Normally he found that exhilarating, but there was times he just wanted to take it easy and let it last a while. Not have to worry about someone busting in in them. Alot of people in his life expected him and Maya to get together, and he use to make people think it'd happen to deter them from Miles.
She deserved better than being an excuse.
"I...." Relaxing his eyes, Phoenix was starting to heat up from the combination of the dehydration from the drink, and the heat of Maya's body on his. Taking one of his hands off the wall, Phoenix brushed his hand down her hair to her cheek, "I'm sorry," Phoenix said softy, muggling his cheek on her softly, "We just went out for lunch with Klavier, Ema, and Zeth. I didn't think I'd be gone so long."

After several minutes of driving in circles, Miles decided on a parking spot next to a purple motorcycle. Hopefully no one will disturb my car with Klavier's motorcycle right next to it. He locked the doors, then pulled the handle on the driver's side, just to make sure they had, in fact, locked. Slipping his keys into his pocket, he casually wandered inside to join his "sister". I wonder what trouble she's gotten herself into already. It's been what, five minutes? I bet the ambulance is already in-route to take someone to the ER. He didn't have much faith in her social skills. After all, she was raised under the 'watchful eye' of Manfred von Karma, not a person he'd want raising his child. Luckily, by the time he had joined Manfred's camp, he already had a few good years of his father's teachings. He regard them much higher than those of his mentor.
Opening the doors, Miles' eyes immediately went to Zeth holding a whip. He looked around for Franziska, whom was seated cross-armed in a chair a few feet away from him. He walked up to Zeth, grinning slightly to himself. "What did she do now? I don't believe I've ever seen anyone else but her with her whip. Surely she didn't give it to you?" He glanced over to his sister, amused that she was obviously frazzled. She wasn't like that very often.
((OK, Miles hasn't noticed Phoenix and Maya yet. How should this play out?))

"Well that's ok, you're here now" Giving her a slight smile knowing that she was happy he was back, Phoenix went to reply, as the red cheeked Maya tip toed up and pressed her lips to his firmly. Phoenix's mind yelped in surprise for a moment, his body not registering the surprise as the soft lips massaged his own. Closing his eyes as he returned the kiss, his head felt cloudy. He was use to Miles' firm aggressive lips kissing him, not the soft gentle ones of a female. Curiosity in one hand, Phoenix allowed himself to be pushed back against the wall as her kiss deepened into his mouth.
The fresh mountain air, the sweet taste of candy, the slight taste of pizza on her tongue... even in his drunken state, he was hardly going to forget this moment for a while. Feeling Maya's body firm against his now, Phoenix's arms wrapped around her back loosely, trying his best to make sense of what was happening around him, his lips moving without his consent. Was he actually enjoying this more than he cared to admit? Or was the fact that he was about to kiss her in full public the fire in his heart that he needed? An open relationship. Something he already had with Maya, sans the kissing. Maybe this was what hwe really needed in life?
((GDM- maybe Miles could notice the smell of the 'grape juice' bottles and realise that someone had put new labels over on them >:3 ))

Glancing to the voice, Zeth's eyes suddenly went onto defence mode as he darkened them angrily.
"YOU!" Zeth growled, "I told you to leave me alone! What is it with your obsession with stepping into my affairs? I told you I could handle the assassin situation alone!" Cracking to whip to the side in frustration, Zeth spent a minute glaring at Miles, before talking some calmness back into his mood. Miles had no hold over him anymore. What was the use in feeling hatred for him just cause he had something he didn't. It's not like that now, Zeth smirked in his mind.You may have your little secret relationship with Ol blue eyes, but you fear people finding out about you still. I hold none of that fear with Shelly.
"Your merry men were easy to dismiss at least," Zeth shrugged, coiling up the whip carefully, as he took a step towards Shelly, "They were very close to doing something that I wouldn't forgive you for though. Meet my destiny... Miss Shelly Beech." Wrapping his arms around Shelly, and giving her a proud smile, Zeth gazed into her eyes, "I could die in her arms right now and pass on the the afterlife the happiest man in the world."
((Zeth is gonna let Franziska sweat it a little till Miles brings up the whip again ;) ))
((Lol- Zeth still wont call her girlfriend- not till she calls him boyfriend ;) He doesn't know if she's not gonna kill him yet XD Wether he lives or dies though, she's his destiny ;) ))

Maya opened her eyes; she felt someone had stepped in.
"Edgeworth?" She thought to herself.
She pulled Phoenix to the left, making it so that they were in the corner and Nick's back was to Miles.
She continued to kiss Phoenix, even going so far as to pull off his Hobo hat and drop it to the floor.
She pressed her hands on the back of Phoenix's spiky hair, trying (In her own drunken way) to make it so he looked as different as he could from the back.
((Phoenix's hair is being pushed down and he no longer has his hat.
Edgeworth won't notice...Right? ))

Feeling swung about from Maya's movements, Phoenix's eyes opened slightly as she flipped of his beanie and smoothed his hair down.
"You like it down, do you?" Phoenix chuckled, pulling away, still holding his arms around her as the movement of the swing, and the vibe of the kiss made him suddenly feel like dancing, "I never knew you'd rather it down, Miles always complained when it poked him in the eye." Chuckling to himself, Phoenix spun the two of them in a slow circle, slipping a hand off her waist, and moving it to her hand. Gliding Maya into a waltz, a dance Miles had taught him a while back in hope to 'educate' him, Phoenix kept his gaze locked, as he inadervantly stepped on her toes as he danced her around.
((Come on Domaya- you wont have much time left! I'm not sure why you haven't done this before- CONVINCE Phoenix into something. Don't just force him. K? :) It's better RP, and that how being drunk actually works. *nods* I've been drunk MANY time, so I know.))

"Um...Where do we start?" Apollo asked. "This is a pretty big place."

Trucy pulled out her magic panties. "These should give us a clue."

Apollo made a face as Trucy pulled out her famous magic panties.
"Uh...Right. Sure they will," he said and coughed. "I'll just...Um...Start by looking by the exit..." He started walking away.
~Trucy~
"Okay. Good luck with that, Polly," she said. Just as Apollo was almost through the backstage door, Trucy pulled out something interesting. "Wait, Polly! Look!"
~Apollo~
Apollo turned around, expecting to see that Trucy pulled out something amazing. Like a map of the place with highlights where everyone was. But all he saw in her hands was an empty grape juice bottle.
"...That's it?" he asked in disbelief. "You stopped me over grape juice?"
~Trucy~
Trucy opened the bottle and took a whiff.
"This doesn't smell like grape juice, Polly," she replied, handing him the grape juice bottle. "I know the smell of grape juice by now. Daddy loves that stuff."
~Apollo~
Apollo smelled the inside of the bottle.
"It...That isn't grape juice. But Mr. Wright loves grape juice...Oh, no!" Apollo shouted, putting two-and-two together. "We have to find Mr. Wright now!" He grabbed Trucy by the hand and they tore down the hallway.

"Despite how much I detest it, you are an important element of the Sanchez case. I cannot afford to have you down for a moment, let alone dead. Sending my men to track you down was my best attempt at keeping you alive." Miles pushed Zeth away, letting go of the shirt. He was fed up with Zeth always acting like a teenager, wanting 'privacy' and to have his 'own life'. Real life isn't like that. He thought. Sometimes you need to accept the help others give you, regardless of how 'capable' you view yourself. He looked down at Zeth's hand holding the coiled whip. "You're going to put someone's eye out with that thing. Best give it back to it's rightful owner before someone gets hurt." He looked over at Franziska, whom seemed extremely bored.
((Short post. Sorry T_T. Like I stated earlier, my debate is on Tuesday (tomorrow!) and I'm giving it my all to prepare. This was my five minute break for the day >.>))

Giving Miles an apathetic look, part of him wanted to yell back at him, but the other part of him knew better. Miles was right... he'd have to translate his notes somehow. Goodness knows that was a difficult enough task to do. Zeth still wrote all of his notes in code. IT drove his employer NUTS having to get him to translate everything. It must've been so difficult to know that he relied so heavily on him for that case. Zeth still felt that Miles would just as quickly dump all of those cares as soon as the case was closed though. He knew it.
"And I should thank you?" Zeth asked, crossing his arms firmly, "You have a cold definition of comradeship, Demon. You tongue talks like the end of this whip, and then you decide to play 'hero' and say that it's for my own good?” Walking up to Miles, Zeth raised his brow, "You're taking the Mommy Miles joke a little too far, don't you think?"
"You're going to put someone's eye out with that thing. Best give it back to it's rightful owner before someone gets hurt." Miles pointed out coyly motioning to Franziska. Zeth narrowed his eyes at Miles, tapping the handle of the whip a few times on his chest,
"Just remember, mother. You can't have both sides of me. Either you're my friend, or not." Zeth stated, turning away, "You've already chosen what one you're going to take. I'm still waiting to hear which one it is." waving his hand up and giving a wave to finish the conversation, Zeth strutted off towards Franziska sitting by the small water feature. Knelling down beside her Zeth gave her an inquisitive look, "Now, have you found some manners?" Offering the whip to Franziska, Zeth gave a neutral expression.
((If Franziska starts to get loud again, he'll take away the offer immediately.))

There was still so much more for Miles to say. He wasn't trying to play a 'hero' of any type. If Zeth had not been assigned detective to the Sanchez case, Miles would have just as easily let him die at the hands of a vixen assassin. Why should he care what happened to that skunk? The only reason he had sent anyone after him was to ensure a detective to testify on the case. Can't we just be colleagues? Do we have to be either a friend or a foe to each other? No other detective Miles ever worked with took interpersonal relationships so seriously. Detective Gumshoe was always happy if he even gave him the time of day.
Franziska snatched the weapon away from Zeth as soon as he offered it. "Now, have you found some manners?"
She gave him a serious once-over, then crossed her arms again, making sure her whip was on the side furthest from him. "Hmph." She didn't look at him. "Manners are relative."
