You know what an hour is in Texas? Halfway across DFW in a car. It's 14 hours, realistically, from one side of the state to the other... By car. El Paso is closer to California than Dallas.

The entirety of the British Isles would fit in with enough room left over for Germany, Denmark, and Slovakia! :jake:

It's a Texan culture joke. Outside of Dallas and Houston, Texans pride themselves on being practical and using no-frills methods to accomplish their goals.

I would say outside of Austin too, but maybe about the locals more than the politicians.

I see DFW has the same traffic issues Houston has.

I want to see a Marshall brother's comic or story where they actually come to Houston and are disappointed by what they find. Although if they came during Rodeo time they might catch the wagon train on the freeway. Then their first impression of Texas would fit their ideals.

Wait. Grandma's driving through West Texas on her way to Arizona right now. I should call her and ask her to bring a cactus back next week.

A draw you say?

There's only one way to settle this. We meet in front of the clock tower five minutes to twelve. Silence, wind, and tumbleweed will be our audience. Once the clock strikes twelve we quickdraw. First one down loses.

(In english, lets settle this by seeing who will post first at twelve noon tomorrow.)

Why? Are cacti potential explosives?

It's because of his implied character.

For one, he's a cowboy prosecutor, nuff said.

He won The King of Prosecutors award against competition such as Edgeworth and Manfred.

He is very proficient in close combat (to the point that there would be no doubt he would win unarmed against an opponent who had a knife).

He tried to protect Ema from Darke.

Knowing what Ema grew up to be I don't give him credit for the last one.

He tried to protect a little girl from a psychopath...there no names ruining the moment.

Though Jake was awesome too, I generally prefer detectives to prosecutors.
