I also didn't notice the magatama that Mia was wearing, but when you first play it, it isn't really obvious. It's just a random shape until the second game. Or the second case where Maya's wearing one as part of her uniform.

I find it funny that some of the pun names in the first game don't describe the characters very much.

But he actually spoke a tad German, which is more than any other German. I'm guessing it's because he took one semester of German in school.
That made me remember something:
