Heheh... I donno to be honest ^^; Zeth was a new OC at the time, and I think this meme kicked of his popularity on DA XD I guess when the character has a strong personality, they sorta write themselves a bit. Being a writer has been a priceless skill for my art ^^ Besides, I figure at some point, I'll give Zeth too much character and he'll decide to hunt me down. It's not as if I could hide anywhere in the world cause he's so awesome he'd hunt me down... XD Lol.

Generally, I don't touch anything with an oil base, or if it's water soluble, like water colours and oil pastles etc... Easy reasons- I can't work water based products, and oils take too damn long to clean up (and if you make a mess...). I've tried all sorts of media you wouldn't know about though. I was big on shellac in college (a french varnish), and embossing metal (you press it and it bends the metal. Great to make 3D pics with :D ), omnicrons (transfer paper)... there's a heap. I don't limit myself at all. Digital is something I've only picked up since my first tablet. I actually dont' enjoy digital colouring much at all. Paint is fun, pencils is fun, charcoal is hella messy but fun, coloured card is great.... essentially, if it's carbon based, I love it, if it bold and not oil based (gouache and acrylic paint) I like it, and if it's grey scale (ink and screen tone) I love it.

And my word that Diego sculpey. o_o It's looking just incredible. I had to do a few character sculpeys for different toys and original characters in a college toy design class and can attest to how difficult it can be. It's truly looking gorgeous so far though; I absolutely can't wait to see your progress on it!

I've done an update on the sculpture too- he's still sans arms and colour, but it's coming along!

Um- his hook is going to be his mug though so... yeah XD
Sculpy is alot like clay, but without the negatives (drying out on you, feeling wet and slimy...) but it's expensive T.T I like it though cause it feels good to work with ^^ and seeing my art in 3D is awesome!! I'm doing it to train my mind to think in 3D cause it's my biggest weakness in art due to my poor eyesight. My eyes get lazy when calculating depth cause I'm cross eyed. I actually need to use ALOT of my imagination to compensate ^^; Hopefully doing a few busts fixes this! XD

And I couldn't agree more- while it definitely is a bit pricey I'll only use super sculpey too. Or at least that's what I always worked with for my sculpture pieces. It takes a while to get it malleable, but it has such perfect rigidity for both carving and forming. It really retains those little details you put in. It always makes me slightly nervous when baking though, because if you overcook it can warp ever so slightly ;A;
He's really looking incredible though; those lips and that nose! YES. I already can't wait to see more.

Um... Do you mean so I can make replicas of the statue? No, but not cause I'm crabby and stuff, but cause
1-it's meant to teach me 3D, and I'm not that good at it yet so... it wouldn't be worth it to you ^^;
2- I'd happily give an original away to a loving family, but I kinda don't take requests for stuff like that ^^; It's an I make it or don't thing

There's always room for improvement ^^ Just cause I've learn to disguise alot of my weaknesses, doesn't mean that they're not there *nods* It's half the fun of art though. Picture of Nii and my OCs in Spin the Bottle- Aimee 'Sean' Nishon, and Zeth 'Skunk' Gant.
In the RP, these two were best friends and Zeth asked her to be his girlfriend and she said no due to bad timing. Years in the future, they're both detectives at the precinct, and friends again, but they harbour emotional uneases. Zeth still cares alot about Sean, but thinks she doesnt like him. He doesn't want to break his heart again over it- he's just happy to be friends. Sean wonders if Zeth still likes her and wonders if something couldn't happened between the two of them if timing was better. It makes for interesting rp ^^
Zeth isn't based in Turnabout attorney timeline in the RP though so not scary background XD HE's still paranoid thoguh ;) Some things shouldn't change ^^

Thank you ^^ I like to try out new methods with art- recently (in the last 2 years) picking up screen toning, vectors, clay, and markers :) It's fun to give something new a go cause really, it doesn't matter if the first few are crap cause you'll always get better, but if you find that you enjoy it, then that's something you would've missed if you didn't try it. Like... 3D. In small amounts, I might enjoy it :) It REALLY pushes my imagination to think 3D. I hope it improves my art too ^^

This is another pic from the Spin the bottle RP- like that Trucy one so it's Zeth... but not as Turnabout Attorney knows him ^^; The happier Zeth :) (Lol- OOC Zeth XD )Yeah- I like back to back pics too :) This one works quite well, cause the body language talks alot for them. The face away from eachother which kinda gives an isolated feel, yet they touch so you know they're close. I like drawing Sean's saftey glasses ^^ They look cool on ^^ Heh... and my Sepia pens that I never use XD Finally using them!! :D Glad you liked it ^^

Sweeney Todd is the guy EVERY thinks Zeth was modelled after. Frankly, I had never HEARD of Sweeney Todd till someone pointed out the similarity between him and Zeth. I then discovered that I LOVED the film :D This one may always stay as a WIP, I'm not sure, but It served it's purpose, which at the time was as part of a pencil tutorial (Which I suck at making XD )

It helps when you have a reference right beside you to get the nitty picky details XD Drawing from memory is ALOT harder then people give it credit for. Having a refresher is good to remind you of stuff. Even anime styles should use references. It's just good even if it's only for creases and form. I don't see it as cheating. In saying this, I'd NEVER sell this pic. It's a fanart. I don't actually like making money off someone else's concept. Turnabout Attorney is ok cause it's limited edition and it's mostly about Zeth :)

There are alot of mistakes with this picture hon ^^; Lol. It's ok though. I'm gonna touch it up in the next day or so. I've sadly been very preoccupied in the last few weeks battling insurance companies over my written off car and my Godmother going to hospital for cancer. Most of that is all sorted out now though. I'll update the pic posted with a better lineart later- maybe even a finished coloured one ^^ Till then, I'm reveling in being stress free T.T

Thanks ^^ I've tried hiding from spoilers too (failing miserably due to Rou's hawtness, and curiosity), so I understand the situation T.T I haven't picked up any REALLY bad spoilers yet, But I figure this is ok since well... he's at the top of this page XD It's my second pic of him now- he's difficult to get the costume right on due to the lack of official art of him, but he REALLY comes across as a very Godot like personality to me, but in a very level headed sort of way. Godot loses focus of stuff cause of his revenge ploy, but Rou is just an asshole. He's sorta half way between Godot and Miles- a place I like to be. I can't wait to see him in action :) I'm POSITIVE that I'll make more art of Rou ;) So don't worry. If I've done 2 pics without the game being released in english then I'm SURE I'll be worse when I see him in action XD

Thanks ^^ It just proves I can do straight XD I like this one though cause it's REALLY suggestive without having nudity. I'm trying to cut back on the flesh in my art cause nudity makes me de class my art if it's a romance of any sort. A picture should be sensual with clothes on AND off. Nudity shouldn't be bonus points, it should be a dynamic. Drawing too much Y!g stuff is making me lose sight of that :nods:

AFFRAID? Cutting back doesn't mean I'm HALTING drawing nudes XD My latest picture is a nude (It's not a PW one though)

I'm recolouring one of my old pics and updating the line art. That pic is me getting a feel for the lighting. It'll take ALOT to stop ME showing flesh ;) I just seem to be drawing too much so I thought I'd cut back and make nudity special again ^^
