Anyway, I need to go back and read what I missed. I don't suppose that anyone feels like summarizing for me? :P
On topic, I can't imagine Iris being even a little interested in politics. Perhaps after years of living outside of the temple, she might give it a bit more thought since the state of the country would effect those that she loved, but even then I doubt that she'd be part of one particular political party.
Phoenix... I'm honestly not sure. He never shows any interest in politics in the game and the game never even approaches the issues that tend to divide the parties. He'd probably follow the coverage and try to make his choice based on that, but I'm not sure that he'd be devoted to one party.
And I love the igloo idea. O_o Don't ask me why because I don't have an answer to that, but it strikes me as fun and potentially very fluffy. They'd have to go somewhere though. A ski trip gone wrong?

though I don't know you all that well.....Phoenix probably should be keeping up with politics because he is a lawyer and good lawyers need to watch out for if some politician is gonna pass something that has something to do with lawyers.....

In all seriousness, I see Iris being more interested in "morality" issues than "fiscal" issues. And I see Phoenix only concerned with politics if they effect the legal system.
And welcome back, Mia_Fey! I summarize, we were talking about working on a fic together. Larry and Pearl conspire to keep Phoenix and Iris from getting back together, but their plan backfires.

As far as politics goes, Phoenix wouldn't be decided to either party. Perhaps after he would be disbarred he would go slightly Conservative. I agree with neoswordmaster that Iris being a nun would be Conservative but probably wouldn't have ever voted before 3-5 and her release. However do note that Los Angeles County hasn't voted Republican since 1984. However I'm note sure which county HazaKurain would be in. Perhaps San Bernadino County?

Go right ahead! Any idea I post in this thread is fair game, as the chances of me actually writing a P/I fic in the near future are slim. This is simply due to the fact that I'm not used to writing them, and for the time being, I'm making Phoenix and Iris be minor characters in a Maya/Miles fic I'm writing.
