*has the soundtrack*

Once you actually own the music and can play it at your calling, most of the songs get very annoying.

Toon Link is actually completely unbalanced, and that's why he's easy to use.

For example, his Final Smash parameters slightly exceed Link's and can alsp be triggered to attack those who are just barely behind him.
I've done it. I've seen it done. It's horrible.

Second, he can trigger the use of almost every item requiring a trigger usage. (If you don't know what I mean, I mean like Bobos and Fire Crates.)

Third, he, like Sonic, is not entirely immobilized after his recovery jump.

I've tried the Gamecube controller, and for some strange reason I just can't get used to it. It's not the original purple one, and it's thick and the buttons stick out too much, like the original 360 controller. Maybe that's why.

I use Wiimote & Nunchuk, and I'm pretty handy with it, I think. I can quite easily move my right hand up and down the remote to reach the + at the top, or the 1 and 2 and the bottom. The only downfall to this system is side taunts are harder to do, and I really like Wolf's howl and Dedede's evil laugh.

The first time I used the nunchuk, I won. Ever since, I used the GCN controller.

And using a Mad Catz controller will mess you up.

That's the one I used, and I didn't like it much. I've never tried an original Gamecube controller (only had the PS2 during that generation), but the X and Y were too far away from B, and the further back shoulder buttons stuck out too much had to be pushed all the way down.

Also, the sideways Wiimote is horrible. Once I grabbed an item, I could not get rid of it at all.

Oh, you mean the Nintendo controller compared to all the MadCatz GCN controllers. Technically, there's only 1 official GCN controller type, the Nintendo one.

My least favourite is Remote + Nunchuk.

1. GC
2. Classic
3. Remote on side
4. Remote + Nunchuk.

When I played Brawl I liked the GC controller the best. I tried the Remote by itself and with the Nunchuck and I found it hard to control. So I pretty much agree with everyone else that the GC controller is the best way to play the game.

It is. Although just to say this pessimistically, I'm not a big fan of how much everything seems to be like jello in brawl. Everything is slower, so that jumps look more like gliding through the air; all the attacks take about 15 frames longer, rolling is slow, sliding is super long... It's like you're fighting in gelatin on a plate made of ice.

Melee felt more like you were fighting on actual stone. Everyone had a distinct speed, and the attacks took the time you'd expect them to.

Brawl's timing is of great annoyance to me, and I hope that Nintendo fixes that when it comes time to make their next platform.

I love brawl. I just played some matches, got wrecked. I haven't gotten any practice since Taffy and I's last fight, so somehow he 3-stocked me with Jiggs. I did better the other matches.

It'd be easier than using the wiimote, but harder than using a regular GC controller.

I can't stand using the wiimote.

I find the GC controller comfortable.

I already had a GC controller or two.

It made a smooth transition from Melee to Brawl.

I don't need to pay for batteries.

I can't see anything wrong with it I've always used that controller. :yuusaku:

Yeah the Wii Classic controller WORKS...but if you've already got Gamecube controllers those work fine.

Has anyone gotten into a taunting party? I'm not sure if that's the proper term, but it's you and some random players taunting and messing around the entire two minutes.

I was in a pretty nifty one for an hour or two. It was a Wario in his WarioWare outfit, and a Wario in his traditional plumber garb, both taunting simultaneously and KOing whoever attacked them. After a few rounds, I went on board and chose Mario in Wario's attire, using the Mega Mushroom taunt. When biker Wario started idling, the other Wario would toadstool jump off me when large, resetting the taunt and size of Mario. We just did this over and over, it rocked.

Later on, a guy came in with Luigi, and joined the cause with a Waluigi costume. For that hour, I felt like I was in the coolest random match group of all time.

I once made a stage where there was one block on top and a bunch of spikes at the bottom.

I played as Kirby while my friends used Captain Falcon, Donkey Kong, and Link. All of those guys have bad recovery and when they got into the stage, my friends immediately fell upon the spikes while I, being Kirby got up to the top and went into a "HAIIII"-fest.

Yeah...good times, good times....
