That's good to hear. How about Young Klavier? Try out his wall slam pose in PWLib. You'll see a part where another part of a different sprite shows up for a second. I know it's not too big of a deal, but it's really bothersome to keep seeing that.

That's good to hear. How's the Mason System coming along? I will need to use it in a bit, so hopefully I can have the basic commands by then.

The Mason System needs tons of improvement, mostly to make it more flexible.

It will be part of the Minuki Extension (Apollo Justice).

I know that. It will improve overtime since I didn't have enough time to do it. Currently the Mason System is in it early phases and contain VERY VERY VERY Basic Commands.

EDIT:

I should have the private release done by a least Sunday or so. Public release; I can not tell yet from my progress.

Ah, I was talking to Dubius, I wanted to double check the script he used, to see if there were an minor errors. I resent the PM, so hopefully it works out.

Also, I AM anxious for the Mason System, but I'm not impatient. I can wait as long as it takes you, so please don't feel like you need to rush.

I did a huge revamp over his Mason System code, so he has a solid base to expand from now.

Also gave him some tips on how to devel with AHLSL, so we hope to have an usable mason system soon. Start small, expand over time.

And yes, probably PWLib will be the only casemaker with the Mason System running. Thanks to AppleButter.

Official Notes about the Mason System:
- Will be part of the Minuki Extension (Apollo Justice features) as apollo_mason.hlsl
- Will have its own "episode" on PWLib's Feature Demonstration Game

The Mason System is going well but it will need a lot of improvement before the actual release date. A teaser video will be made once version 2 release.

I don't need help coding or ripping, but I do need a small favor. If you will like to help, please pm me. It will help me.

I just received a PW from papermario, and his idea bugs me a bit, seeing what happened on the past related to his idea.

Comparing casemakers was something that on the past caused a lot of trouble. If for example in this compare pwlib proves to be the best, other casemakers supporters might yell against it. It happened before, and I don't want this to ever happen again. Placing pros and cons is like a second coming of comparing them.

For 1.2, i wish only one thing: to stop comparing PWLib with other casemakers. Each solution has its own unique presentation, creation and core, and thus cannot ever be compared. Features? Probably, but authors would go and try to put something else to show they're the best, and it always let to trouble.

I never could place what PWLib's better at without some kind of issue, so it's better to leave things as they are. I'm tired of this.

It's great to see that you don't want to argue, KSA. But what I'm suggesting is NOT a comparison of casemakers. Also, I'm hoping to keep this a secret until it is posted, so if you have legitimate complaints(ONCE AGAIN, IT'S NOT A COMPARISON), send them to me through PM.

PS: Looks like 1.2 is coming along great, keep up the excellent work.

Hello.
I have a problem with PWLib.

I follow the tutorial, and everything, yet, I still get a black screen when running AIGE. No error, nothing. Just cold black void.

So, what am I doing wrong? I checked a game made in this, and it worked. So it obviously must be a problem on my part.

Healp?

EDIT:

OKAY! I got this stuff to work... somehow.

Now another problem, even tough everything is typed how ti should be, sprites are in place, but it still doesn't show Ema's sprite. What gives?

Currently, I'm doing a huge modification on the Mason System by adding in the location preview. It was more difficult than I thought since I'm trying to make it more customizable for the users.

Are you sure you wouldn't wait for a more customizable version of the Mason System before putting it into the 1.2 beta, KSA?

The Mason System's great right now, but it's not too versatile(no offense at all intended, Applebutter, I know you're working hard), and it's only version 1.

Well, I guess it depends on when you release the beta, eh?

Good luck with PWLib 1.2, it's gonna be amazing.

There's been a full-blown tutorial ever since the release of PWLib to CR. If you go to the first post and see the official KSA_Tech PWLib page, there will be a download for "PWLib in a Nutshell", the tutorial.

Here's the link: http://www.ksatechnologyhq.com:1357/mainsite/pwlib

I'm kidding. I understand what you mean. I know it's not the best at the current state. I estimate a completely customizable version of The Mason System at around Version 4.

Considering that PWLib 1.2 will have a Beta, having a beta version of the mason system on it will be fine.

One of the things i like about AIGE is that I'm not locked to any number of layers, so more complex stuff can easily be done without needing an insanely long animation (one good example is the Mason System).

I guess I can't release version 2 this weekend since I just encounter some MAJOR glitches that I need to fix.
I will hopefully release Version 1.5 although.

I tried to make a game in some Asian language (such as Korean and Japanese) but AIGE made malfunctions.
I found it when I tested them like this:

and I thought: 'These malfunctions occur because Unicode is not allowed in this program.. :payne: "
so I did some search in this forum, and found a way to use Unicode-
but it's to hard for me to understand.
Can anyone give a full AND easy explanation please? :phoenix:

And, I want to use Japanese-version-style system, like this:
(this screenshot is from GK. Japanese NDS GS's and their unofficial Korean NDS versions are same as this. When it comes to messages, Japanese GBA versions of GS1~3, and their unoff Korean and Chinese versions are also same)

To developers of PWLib: Is there any plan to allow this system in further versions of AIGE? :maya:

AIGE 800a (that will ship with PWLib 1.2) do support unicode. AIGE 700a (PWLib 1.1) does not.

The unicode on 800a does not include the "big range" sections (since I didn't got an idea on how to make it work without overflowing the memory), but Hiragana and Katakana works normally (I posted an example, will repost a pic of AIGE 800a using it).

Also AHLSL source files will be able to be saved on UTF-8 without AIGE throwing an error. (The AHLSL Interpreter on 700a flips over for minimal errors that the version on 800a don't.)

All the lines are on the same text object.

Another Example (with a more lengthy text, and showing an AIGE's advanced text feature:

1. Then, does the "big range" means code with 5 or more hexadecimal places(in code, U+10000 and further)?
(2. I mean, can I use Hangul(code 1100~11FF and 3130~318F for individual letters, AC00~D7AF for syllables) in PWLib 1.2?)
3. If so, some of Kanji can also be used; if they are in CJK Unified Ideographs(4E00~9FBF), CJK Compatibility Ideographs(F900~FAFF) or CJK Unified Ideographs Extension A(3400~4DBF), right? :hobohodo:
4. How about the Japanese-version system? Its message is 17 letters(but 17th letter must be ","/"、" or "."/"。") * 2 lines, and the court record has only one description: there is no description for Type in Evidences and Age/Gender in Profiles. Age is written next to name, such as "成歩堂 龍一(24)" for Phoenix.

PS: 5. Irohauta in your screenshot has 2 typos: +(と: to) and f(を: wo) :edgy:
