Mine are... (probably in order):
Luke fon Fabre, Tales of the Abyss: He has the best character development in gaming history from a bratty annoying aristocrat to a level-headed and modest hero. He also has a cool sword. His character design is really cool... and he's hot. :P
Vivi Orunitia, Final Fantasy IX: I love how he's a Black Mage and he is in the story. Plus he's cute for a faceless being. His story of finding the meaning of his existance is really orginal and interesting too.
Link, Zelda series: The lovable hero. It's almost impossible to hate him... unless you're a Nintendo basher. I mainly like his kid version. (Ocarina/Majora's mask version is the best)
Genis Sage, Tales of Symphonia: Awesome weapon plus magic. And Genis' attitude makes him especially awesome.
Ein, Riviera: Is just like me. :P Only sexier.
Ewan, Soren, Erk, Fire Emblem: Gotta love the young mages. Ewan has a cool personality, Soren is cool and Erk lis lovable.
Oh and there's also Will Powers, Ada Wong, Chibi-Robo, Squall Leonheart, Issun, Arche Klein. ^^

-Dante, DMC1 (that's the first one, not silent 2-Dante, or obnoxious 3-Dante). Totally goober, totally hot
-Raiden, MGS2. Also hot, and naked.
-Leon, RE4. From geek to hot = extra hot.
-Samanosuke, Onimusha. Hot + topnotch = Mmmmmm. Gotta love the softspoken hero (fuck you Dawn of Dreams, stay away from my sweet sweet samurai).
-Nobunaga, Kessen III. Hot + topnotch + not dying a horrible death at Honnouji = *Croik swoon*
-Delita, FFT. I don't care what anyone else says, FFT had the best post-credit ending ever, and I love Delita for all time. Nobody backstabs better. I like Wiegraf from the same game almost a much. Mustadio is also love.
-Romeo Guildenstern, Vagrant Story. Not the most creative villain, but he had a great presence in the game. And he knew how to smack his ho.
-Larsa Solidor, FFXII. He belongs in my pocket. *squish*
-Ky Kiske, Guilty Gear. Such an angry little Frenchman. The obsessed ones are always fun.
-(The Boss from MGS3 would go here, except by the end of the game her backstory went overboard and I couldn't help rolling my eyes at her. Boooo)
-Edgeworth, Engarde, Yuusaku. Favorites from the GS series. Takita's fighting for a spot in there, too. He cracks me up.
I guess I could talk about characters that are deep and complex and meaningful, but...naww.

Barrett from Final Fantasy VII, because he's the only male in that game without a testosterone deficiency.
