To summarize, the suspect murdered his 4 year old neighbor and stuffed his dead body in the boy's clothes dryer after drowning him in the bathtub. The motive was because the 4 year old threatened to tell on the suspect for molesting him earlier.
What is wrong with kids these days?

Because people are typically messed up? I mean, you at least some really screwed up cases per city a year and you can track messed up cases centuries back (and, people have pretty creative with torture since as long before actual civilizations).

Seriously now, this kind of thing seems to be getting common. But I believe that kids were much more cruel centuries ago. Psychopathic kids have always existed, and if our lil' murderer really is diagnosed with Psychopathy then I believe it's safe to say that he wasn't properly treated. Still, it's possible no one had any idea he was a psycho. They're hard to spot in our daily lives.
Anyway, I hope he's treated like an actual criminal, and not just some problematic kid.
