For the record, compare the two pics. As anyone can see, Hayden's head was not pasted on Shaw's body. Instead, they removed him from the scene entirely, putting Hayden in his place.
Notice the difference in body size.

There were plenty of A-list actors on the cast, but as everyone saw the script and direction were sorely lacking. Ewan MacGregor was the only one who seemed to rise above and beyond the morass of bad storytelling, though.

On that note, I still expect to see good performances from Hayden Christensen.

My peeve with 4-6... yes, I do have one...

Is that the old ending will never come back. I fracking HATE the new CG ending they slapped on.

GORRAM IT.

I've decided to use this post since it was the first one that just happened to point out this little discrepancy. Apparrently, no one has been informed.
I'm what you call a "passive" SW fan. I've seen 5 of 6 of the movies (never got around to watching Ep. 2; but the DVD musical in the Ep. 3 pretty much filled me in on the general details), played a few games, read a few books...but nothing "extreme". I've kept tabs on a number of things that tend to leak through the general public on the subject, the original/remake debate being among them.
No offense, but for a bunch of Star Wars fans, I would think that you would've heard about this.
Oh, well. Just so you can all sleep a little more soundly, I shall inform you of the following:
LucasFilms has re-released the original trilogy yet again...this time, for DVD.
No, not the 2004 "original" version. THE original, as in "EXACTLY as it was made in the 70s/80s" original trilogy. I currently own the "Episode IV" set, with the other two to follow.

This "fan gem" (seriously, I don't think he would've released this w/o the "support" of the fans) is released in 3 two-disc sets, one for each episode/movie (that's a total of 6 DVDs, kids;)).
It includes the original classic that we all know and love, as well as the 2004 version.
Now, fans can have the best of both worlds: DVD-quality sound and visuals AND the original Star Wars trilogy that got us all hooked in the first place!
Yeah, and we get remake.

Each "episode set" (original & remake) is priced at about $19.99. IMO, that's one hell of a bargain for two full movies in one package. So, you pretty much get both versions for the price of one!

Enjoy;).

Lol, Star Wars. I have the prequels on DVD and the originals on VHS, but my VCR has been broken for years. Now I really want those DVD's for the originals.

Notice how Obi-Wan looks slightly thinner in that screenshot as well. And Christensen claims that he had no idea of that change. Plus, he's never been shown to wear the white Jedi garb in the prequel movies.

Oh, and by "paste" I meant "superimposed". :/

Hey, I said it first... ah, don't worry about it. What matters is that it happened in the first place. Pretty soon they're going to replace Yoda with JarJar. :darke:

Mind telling us why you think the Original Trilogy sucked, other than shallow reasons such as the lack of special effects, slow lightsaber fights, and "ZOMG! No Hayden Christensen! LOLOLOLOL!!11!!!one!!", hmm? :/

Yoda looked stiff and crap *shot*

But storyline wise, the new ones are a bit airy-fairy. New sith lords every episode and new unrelated objectives all the time. I mean heck, how did they go from a way on Naboo to fighting a four armed robot-creature?

At least the first three had direction. Luke, an orphaned boy sets out to become a Jedi, in order to bring peace to the galaxy, and to avenge the death of his father by ending Vader's reign of tyranny. But lo and behold, Vader is his father! OH NOEZ!
Sorry, I've lost my train of thought...

Granted, the lightsaber fights kicked major ass. But overall, the plot was much better in the original trilogy.

I think that maybe they should have incorporated the Clone Wars into a movie or something, because I know alot of people wouldn't watch the cartoon channel, just to see when it'd come on, and they wouldn't have even known about it if they didn't watch their cartoon channel, cause I know it wasn't heavily advertised outside that channel. At least it wasn't over here.
On April 3, 2016, Court Records Forums experienced a miracle upon that day.

Clone Wars was incorporated into both a book and a videogame, so people would be familiar with the series of events before ROTS, like Chancellor Palpatine's "kidnapping", the assault on the Jedi Temple, and the introduction of General Grievous. However, judging from all the "ZOMG! Look at that kewl Robot Spider thing with lightsabers! LOLOLOLOL!!!" and "Holy Crap! Palpatine was kidnapped?", it didn't work. -.-

Well, it was kind of weird, because at the end of the second movie, it was like "OMG THEIR TRAPPED AND TEH CLONE WARZ ARE BEGINNING!!!!111!" and at the beginning of the third movie, it was something like "TEH CLONE WARZ ARE OVER NOW AND BY TEH WAY DIS STUFF HAPPENED".
Excuse my n00b speak.

OK, enough of you're guy's s***! What's you're opinion on Dengar's fighting style vs. Boba Fett's? Personally, I think Boba is better with weapons and movement but Dengar gets the job done fast and without mercy, due to his lack of emotions.
