This is probably one of the most beautiful movies I've ever seen. Honestly, it is. When Christian first walks into the Moulin Rouge and you see all the entertainers, my jaw dropped at how breathtaking it was.
Of course, the music can't be forgotten. Hearing Like A Virgin being sung by two men was...weird, but it worked! I may actually prefer this version of Roxanne to the original even though I love The Police. Although, Your Song will always be better when Elton John's singing it.
Is it bad that the ending didn't really make me sad?

Didn't actually watch until I was about 18 though, it's one of my fave films. The soundtrack is awesome, I have it on CD somewhere 8D
Total tearjerker though, I never fail to cry at the ending. Ewan's acting in it incredible ;__;
