The thing though is that Nintendo took part in Chain of Memories, which is a crucial step in the KH series. Also, I know it's corny, but there is someone from the KH series working on music for Brawl; that may not mean much, heck, may mean nothing. Someone also noticed the Subspace Army looks a lot like Heartless/Nobodies; never know, they do kind of, maybe someone from the art department is there.
I just really hope we dont' get Cloud or Squall or any FF character. They're primarly Playstation, while Sora is of both worlds. Still, with or without him, I'm cool with it all.

That is one the reason you don't see many law enforcment canines with AKC. Instead, they of paper from the organizations like Interquest Detection Canines Law Enforcement Services. And, Yes, I do agree that a dog can only trained to a certain degree. That is the first rule that a Dog Obedience Instructor must come to understand.

If anything, I would expect Mog or any of his Moogle buddies to have a phenomonally higher chance of showing up in Brawl, compared to any of the more popular "idols" that are plastered across fanfiction.net like so much ketchup on an undercooked hamburger.

Seriously, people should get over this hatred of Sonic just because they didn't like his current games. Sonic is old-school cool, like Pit, Ice Climbers, Ness, Lucas, and Game & Watch.

It is true that you can give any character a good move set. Trust me on this, I been hacking Pokemon Movesets since the days of Red and Blue. BUT, to give a character a good, balanced moveset that works with the character while still keeping in flavor of the character is more of a challenge.
Phoenix is a character that can be a good moveset but it's gonna be very hard to keep them within his character context. It doesn't play well in his favor to have him as a playable character. I'm saying that I don't want see him a PC but I honestly don't think he's gonna be a playable character. At most, he would be an AT at the most like Excitebike.

The very thought of it has been going on since the last "real 'System Wars'" during the 1980s-1990s.
Now, Sega/Nintendo fans can finally rejoice as the companies' major titans can finally duke it out.
Now, I wish to address all those "Sonic-haters" for a moment.
To those who played their first Sonic game on the Gamecube/PS2/XBX or the "Next-Gen" systems (I'm talking about the "Playstation/XBox Generation"...yes, even the portables), give it a chance.
Both old-school and next-gen fans have been sorely disappointed with the direction the Sonic games have gone so far.
I know it's a bit much to ask, but why do you think such a large fanbase continues to stay by the "Blue Blur" even in his darkest hour?
Character.
No, I'm not going to go into a crazy lecture about freakin' emotions and stuff.
Just look at some of the gaming greats, man.
Titles and icons come and go, but only a few manage to leave a lasting impression in the hearts and minds of those who have experienced it.
To those that have been around since Sonic's "golden age", c'mon!
We all know virtually every 3D Sonic game (except SA1 and SA2, apparently) sucks.
Heck, Castlevania sucked in 3D (Castlevania 64), and look at the new CV games!
Still needs work, though, but that's quite an improvement from their first attempt.
If I'm not mistaken, the "original Sonic Team" hasn't been completely involved with the games for some time.
I believe most of the group's parted ways with the series.
With Sega backing the Brawl, who knows?
Maybe other Sega icons will appear in Brawl.
Streets of Rage, Joe Musashi from the original Shinobi series, Space Channel 5, maybe even (dare I say?) Segata Sanshiro?!
(Don't forget the Shenmue series!)
Heck, Snake can't be the ONLY "mature" gaming icon in Brawl!
Besides, with Sonic in the mix, Robotnik/Eggman can't be far behind....
With this hype, you gotta ask yourself this question:
Will Brawl be delayed yet again?
Sonic/Mario Olympics stated it would be the first game to feature the two characters, so how is that gonna work out with Brawl?
(You can only think of what this is gonna do to the sales...for BOTH games.)

His Side-B is the spin dash, which can be combined with a well-placed jump for a two-hit combo. Charging the move just a bit will make it go faster.
B-Down is the Spin Charge. It's like the spin dash, but you can hold yourself in place.
B-Up is the Spring Jump, a move that creates a bumper from the old Sonic games to bounce him high into the air. Doing it on the ground causes the bumper to stay, and other characters can use it.
Pretty good. I wonder what the standard B move is, though, if not that aerial kick move from the trailer.

Normally I'd be upset, but for a game that's looking to be so great I can wait a little while longer. Just gives me more time to enjoy Super Mario Galaxy, anyway, and if they can add to or refine the game further during the additional time, all the more reason to wait.

I really don't think that aerial kick is his B move. That kick seems more like a Down+A move to me if anything. The closest thing we have seen so far to it Captain Falcon's Blaze Kick in Melee and that required additional aiming. B alone moves aren't supposed to that complex that it require aiming (OK, maybe holding button might be need though) beyond which to face the character like Fox's Blaster or Snake's Hand Grenade.
My guess is that B Standard Move is that small jump in which goes into a his ball-ish form, spin-hits the oppoenent a few times and drops back on ground on his feet. It's very similar to when in old Sonic game you when would just normal jump, bounce off the top of the enemie's head (sometimes a few times) and land back on the ground afterwards. This can be seen in his intro video as during the close up of his fight with Donkey Kong. We know that's not the Spin Dash since the Spin Dash keeps going in the aim direction after it hits oppenent(s) and not stop in one spot and keep spining. And it's certainly not Spin Charge as there is no charge-up glow around Sonic when he's hitting DK. Hence, This likely the unknown B move we are looking for.

- Unique character entrances return.
- There are multiple Smash Balls per match. You have to beat them up until they break to use them, so it's a fair chance for all.
- Alternate color schemes return, and there appear to be more variations this time around. "Dark" Link and "evil" Metaknight are particularly awesome.
- Samus' stage is Nofair. Not sure about it, but it involves lava.
- Drill Dozer AT.
- Advance Wars AT. Works much like excitebike, also 2D-ish.
- Metroid AT. Releases a Metroid that attaches to fighters abnd sucks out their health.
- Sonic's FS is indeed Super Sonic. It enables Sonic to fly around freely, and do fully-powered attacks without having to charge up.
