The game will be perfect. That is what I need to tell you first. The fact I had so much fun with only a demo.....the final product of this game will be amazing.
The gameplay is slower but it is definitely a good thing. It's like a cross between smash 64 and Melee, but better than both. The slower gameplay helps even out n00bs and pros a bit, but not as much as you think.
It's really n00b friendly gameplay but pros can hit almost as well as in Melee, they did a very good job with this. That description doesn't seem to perfectly fit, but I don't really know how to explain it.
2 NEW ITEMS!
1) Deku Nut: Yes, from Zelda. You can pick it up and throw it at people, it can explode and send them flying (about 10 damage but as much knockback as a bob-omb). If it misses anyone even NEAR the explosion is stunned. If you mash buttons you can get out of the stun faster, but if you're the only one stunned then ur still screwed.
2) Lightning: The one from Mario Kart. Pick it up and it strikes everyone on screen (besides you) with lightning and shrinks them.
Known Items
Food: Now in 3D. heals slightly more than it did in Melee. Still mostly pointless unless you can grab a lot of it though.
Maxim Tomato: Same as Melee.
Heart Container: Same as Melee.
Beamsword: This isn't the wimpy beamsword from melee. It's back longer than ever and with almost as much power it had in the original smash (which was a LOT more than melee)
Smoke ball: The smoke makes much more of a difference than you'd think, it really does make it kind of hard to see certain areas. It can also stick to enemies if you hit them with it.
Banana Peel: The only notable thing was that you can actually damage people by throwing it at them.
Spike ball: Might be a gordo from the Kirby series but I'm not sure. Kind of hard to tell. It doesn't seem like you can pick it up since it expands and hurts you whenever you touch it. You can still knock it around with projectile attacks though. Does about 5-10% damage and barely any knock back. Even if it is weak you want to avoid it, it will hurt you just long enough for a nearby enemy to hit with and smash attack.
Bob-omb: Same as melee, slightly less knock back.
Bumper: Same as the first smash, 'cept it floats. No surprises here.
Mr. Saturn: He's back and as useless as ever.
Screw attack: Get screw attacks for a bit, can't throw it anymore, but it sticks to you like the Franklin Badge does so you can grab another item and probably come up with a good way to combo them. Effects of the Screw Attack last for about 10-18 seconds.
Lip's Stick: Mostly same as Melee, flower doesn't last as long on people's heads.
Fan: Same as melee.
Star Rod: Same as melee as far as hitting and firing stars at people go, doesn't have as much knock back when you throw it at people as it did in Melee.
Super/Mini Mushroom: Much harder to tell apart than they were in Melee.
Gooey bomb: I unfortunately never got to see it in action.....
Laser Gun: Almost as good as it was in 64 but it's harder to combo people with it than it was in 64 and melee.
Super Scope: Same as Melee. "Cept you can move around while you use it.
Barrels & Crates: Same as always, cept its impossible for a barrel/crate to explode unless it has the flame symbol. But to make the ones that can explode actually explode you must attack them. They wont explode from throwing them. The ones with wheels do some good damage if they hit you.
Fire Flower: The one in melee sucked. The one in 64 ruled. This is like the one in 64 but u cant keep someone off the edge with it as easily. Does more damage than ever before.
Spring board: The one from the Mario series. You can bounce off of it, and will go about 2/3s as high as Sonic's upB. You can also throw it at someone for 10-15% and decent knock back.
Homerun Bat: Mostly the same, but WAY slower when your trying to home-run somebody.
Hammer: Just as powerful as it was in melee. The head falls off a lot more though, about 1/3 of the time.
Golden hammer: Just as powerful as the site said it was, if not more so. This thing is deadlier than some of the final smashes. Imagine a hammer that can hit 3 times at once and you basically get this.
Motion Sensor bomb: Seems a bit weaker than it was in Melee.
Smart bomb: This is that massive bomb that deals about 70% damage and can KO in one hit. A player can grab and throw it but if they take enough damage while holding it, it explodes in their hands.
Cracker Launcher; Never got to use it myself but it's really powerful. Seems kind of hard to aim it though.....
Pitfall: VERY good item. Hit them with this and you can pwn someone with your most powerful attack to send them flying. You don't have to set it either, you can just chuck it at them and they're stuck.
Franklin Badge: Basically what the site said. Very rare item though.
Super Spicy curry: This thing is cheap......very cheap.....anyone who has played a Kirby game will realize this is more like a Beam Kirby power than what the spicy curry does. 'Cept the beam is constantly going up and down. Decent range too.
The spring Sonic leaves after his upB: I figured this should go in with items...he barely ever leaves it behind, maybe once out of every 10 times or so. It disappears pretty fast too. Doesn't bounce you as high as it did with Sonic. Pretty much a springboard that you can't throw at people.
I think that's all the items....now for pokeballs/ATs.
NEW Assist Trophy
Saaki(sp?): A girl with a gun, she runs around and shoots people. Pretty good. According to the guy behind me in line she is from the game Sin and Punishment. idk for sure though.
Known Assist Trophies
Metroid: This thing kicks ass. Latches on to you, you must attack like crazy to get it off. Normally does around 50% before you can get rid of it.
Hammer Bro: Basically as good as he is in the videos. Not bad.
Drill Dozer: Really good if she hits someone, will sometimes jump to hit an enemy. Wether she turns around or just drives off of a ledge seems to be random so how helpful she is varies.
Never got to see Advance Wars AT.
Dr. Wright: He sucks. Getting launched does no damage and doesn't send you that far at all.
Samurai Goroh: This guy is ****in crazy. He hits FAST! Should do around as much damage as a Metroid, but possibly to multiple characters.
Lyn: It's actually pretty hard to dodge her, and if you get hit you may as well have taken a direct hit from Link's final smash cuz you go flying FAR!
Knuckle Joe: He is actually really good. Very far knock back and fast attacks. An excellent AT.
Little Mac: Like Knuckle Joe, but slower and WAY more powerful. he KO'd a guy when he was only at about 20%. He will jump to get to opponents, or even double jump if they are that high.
Andross: Very hard to doge his attack. A pretty good AT, will probably be in the better half once we see more of them.
Excite Bike:As neat and cool as it is too see little 8-bit bikers run over people it isn't that good. They only have about as much knock back as the unknown pokemon had in melee but are easier to dodge.
Devil: Doesn't make things as hectic as originally thought, but if you take advantage of the situation then this AT can determine the outcome of the battle.
Ressetti: .......he does nothing but ***** at you. However his *****ing is funnier than expected. He is a pretty rare AT.
Lakitu: The spinies do about as much as the excitebikes but are slower, however the fact that they fall from the sky may make them more dangerous.
2 NEW Poke'balls
Latios and Latias: One will come out of the ball and then fly off screen. Then both of them will start flying all around the arena faster than super sonic and doing even more damage. Very good, I'd imagine it's even better when fighting multiple opponents.
Bonsly: He walks around the stage doing nothing. However you can pick him up and hurl him at enemies! XD Very good knock back and damage but you move REALLY slow while carrying him.
Known pokeballs
Kyogre: He floats above the stage and spits water in front of him. Like a bigger, better, flying version of Mario's FLUDD attack.
Groudon: Pretty much what was expected.
Didn't get to see Deoxys.
Didn't get to see Meowth.
Piplup: Surprisingly good, but very easy to dodge. If it hits though then your opponent is pretty much trapped until right before they die.
Torchic: Decent range, but never hit so i dont know how much damage it does.
Munchlax: Moves really fast once he sees an item, so you probably need to get it before he spots it. Will not eat items out of your hands. Will not eat activated pokemon or ATs.
Chikorita: Same as melee.
Goldeen: Still useless. Undecided
Gardevoir: It walks slowly back and forth across the stage with a shield around it, but I have no idea what it does. You can walk in and out of the shield at will so it doesn't stop you from going anywhere. idk, might end up being the bubble shield of Brawl (stops projectiles from entering/exiting) but that is just speculation.
Alt colors
First of all, it was only alt colors for everyone besides Pikachu, there were no alternate costumes.
Mario: They were all the same ones from Melee, although a Fire mario costume was added. However the brown clored one and the Classic Mario (red jeans blue shirt) costumes from Melee were gone.
Yoshi: It was all the same colors from Melee. No Orange, Purple, White, or Black colors were added. Sad
Link: There were Red, Blue, Yellow, White, and Dark Link (TP style) costumes.
Peach: There were Green, Red, and White colors, as well as a Daisy costume again. There were more than just this but unfortunately I can't remember them all.
Meta Knight: It was basically all the alternate colors from Kirby Air Ride except for brown. There was also a black meta with red eyes, I assume this is what Dark Meta Knight from Kirby: The Amazing Mirror looks like but I could be wrong. If this is how Dark meta looks then I guess it could be considered an alt costume. There is also a bat-shaped pattern on the back of his cape, which isn't on the other ones (if it is then it is much harder to see).
Pikachu: Pichu's goggles from Melee, a green head band, and more that I can't remember.
Pit: There were Blue, green, red, and yellow togas. There was also a pitch black one, when this costume was selected Pit also had black wings.
Samus: All of the colors from Melee return, there is also a Fusion suit alt.
ZSS: The only alt I saw for her was a black Zero Suit.
Bowser: Had a some of his costumes from melee (red, black, and green). Also had one with a white shell with parts made of gold.
DK: Had all of the alt colors from Melee as well as a white-fur one.
Diddy: Had green, light blue, white, and pink alt colors. I heard a rumor that he had a Dixie alt costume that lacked hair, but it is untrue.
Ike: Red, white, green, and blue-ish alts. I think there may have been a yellow but I'm not sure.
Fox: Had green, blue, and red costumes. Unfortunately I didn't get a good look at what alt colors Fox has so I only know these 3.
Sonic: One gave his fur a greenish tint and blue wrist bands. Another gave his fur a light blue tint and yellow wrist bands. One he was almost all black but with green stripes on his quills (think shadow but with green stripes instead of red) and green wrist bands. Another was the same as teh Black fur one but with blue stripes on his head and red wrist bands.
Music
I couldn't actually hear any of the music but at the beginning of every fight they show what music is playing. I didn't notice until late in my time at E For All so I didn't get to see much of the music selection but I saw a few. I will list what songs and the stage they were on.
Haliberd:
Gourmet Race
Bridge of Eldin:
Zelda Main Theme
The Darkworld
Battlefield:
Menu 1
Battlefield
Norfair:
Metroid Main Theme
Samus Aran Space Hunter
Lylat Cruise:

Norfair
This is WAY funner than Brinstar was. You should know the level lay out and what it looks like by now from videos so I won't go into that.
The lava will occasionally rise, much like it did in Brinstar. However it has less knock back, so although it isn't as likely to KO you at relatively low damage, it is harder to escape once you get burnt and you will gain a lot of damage.
Sometimes when the lava rises there will also be a massive waterfall of lava (a lavafall?) that does huge damage and massive knock back. Getting hit by a bob-omb is more safe than touching this thing! If you are hit by a powerful enough attack then you can be knocked through the lava and will most likely be burnt to a crisp and almost certainly KO'd while you are in the middle of it.
There will also be tidal waves of lava that come from the background, getting hit by this is also an almost for-sure KO and does massive damage. The only way to avoid it (since it covers the entire screen) is to get in a capsule like thing that appears when the tidal wave does. It appears on the upper right or left platform. It has blue walls that you can open by attacking, once open you can get inside the capsule which will close and be un-openable until the tidal wave passes.
It's a shame I can't make this course sound as fun as it really is. It was one of my favorite courses in the demo I played.
Thunder Pokemon Stadium
Background: The area changes so it has a metal ground. There is an Electivire standing in the background, there are also two of what look like power generators.
The Course: There is a medium sized floating platform above the center of the stage, and another smaller one above that. There is also a small platform hanging over the left side of the stage.
The middle of the stage is plain, the "safe" zone without any gimmicks. however the sides (2/3 of the stage) become treadmills. They both move your character to the edge of the stage when you stand on them, and move moderately fast although they are slow enough for you to be able to run back (even though jumping is obviously more effective). The treadmills take you to the edge but the ledges of the stage are still normal so you can ledge grab without getting on the treadmill.
Final Smash Teir List
Keep in mind I only played 1 VS. 1 matches, how good some Final Smashes are likely changes depending on how many people are playing. This is just the teir list for 1 VS 1 matches. I was also unable to try ZSS's FS so it is not on the list.
1) Landmaster
Fox's tank is truly devastating. You are invincible while you use it, can hurt people just by moving into them, can hurt people on you by either barrel rolling OR shooting, can shoot in front of you with a laser beam that is incredibly powerful, AND you can fly. You are practically garinteed a KO to at least one opponent when you use Fox's FS.
2) Super Dragon
Yoshi not only gets flight capabilities and becomes invincible, but also gains some speed. the fireballs he shoots are fast, and have incredibly high knock back. They also do 25% damage per hit, so even if you don't KO someone you will certainly get some damage in. the fireballs work great for large courses like Eldin Bridge while the firebreath is devastating on smaller courses like Battlefield. I was able to KO an opponent twice in one FS with this.
3) Mario Finale
This attack is one of the few FSs that is actually un-dodge-able. No matter what you do you will likely get at least 35-50% damage unless you are Pit (he can fly over it). It also carries you to the end of the stage and launches you off before disappearing so there is a likely chance it will KO you.
4)Palutena’s Army
Pit turns invincible for the 3 1/2 seconds he is summoning Palutena’s Army. Around 12-15 Centurions will dive bomb opponents. High damage, great knock back. Very difficult to dodge all of them. Works well on both one and multiple opponents.
5) Ike's FS
Even though it has short reach, if you are hit with this it is an instant KO. There is nothing you can do after being hit other than watch your poor character get beaten and burned to death by Ike's sword. But it only has about as much reach as one of his A-attacks and is slow. If he misses than his FS is wasted so it is only good in the hands of a skilled player.
6) Meta Knight's FS
Slightly greater distance than Ike's FS but isn't a garunteed KO. However even at 0% damage the only way your opponent will live is if they are stopped by a platform or something while flying up. Incredibly likely to KO.
7) Triforce Slash
It has greater distance than Ike's and Meta's FS but isn't a garunteed KO, even at relatively high damage. However it still has great knock back and great damage so it is likely to kill. If it doesn't then you still gave your enemy 40-60% damage anyway.
8) Peach Blossom
Allows you to heal yourself which is very good. Should also allow you to hit every opponent at least once. Not a very offensive Final Smash but VERY good if your opponents have high damage percentages. It is a very poor Final Smash however if Peach and all opponents have low damage percentages as healing will not effect the match much and hitting opponents with a charged smash attack won't be very effective. Waiting for opponents to get high percentages can be dangerous due to the fact that they can knock the Smash Ball out of Peach and take it for themselves if she doesn't use it.
9) Zero Cannon
Is very hard to dodge but can be done by characters like Pit and Meta (it is assumed Kirby and Jigglypuff will also be able to dodge this). The most damage you will take from this is around 80%, but that is at point blank, you have to be standing directly in front of Samus when she uses her FS to take that much. The minimum amount of damage seems to be around 30%. Has very little knock back at low percentages but massive knock back at high ones. Turn into ZSS after using it.
10) Super Sonic
Invincibility and flight is nice, but it is somewhat hard to control. It takes a while to change directions when steering Super Sonic which gives your opponents enough time to get ready for your next attack. It is also some-what easy to dodge this if you are good at rolling and air-dodging. Can end when you are away from the stage, and if it does then you can not double jump, air dodge, or use the Up B to get back to safety. Should be able to hit each opponent at least twice even if they are good at dodging. Good damage and high knock back.
11) Volt Tackle
Basically a slower and easier to control version of Super Sonic. Damage is about the same but knock back isn't as far. It is however easier to control and harder to dodge making it easier to hit opponents. Good for people who have trouble controlling Super Sonic. Can end when you are away from the stage, and if it does then you can not double jump, air dodge, or use the Up B to get back to safety.
12) Rocketbarrel Barrage
Invincible, slower and harder to control than Super Sonic and Volt Tackle. The peanuts fired are not very effective, they have decent damage and good knock back, but most can be dodged and there won't be enough hits to actually KO anyone unless they are already at very high damage. Can end when you are away from the stage, and if it does then you can not double jump, air dodge, or use the Up B to get back to safety.
13) Giga Bowser
More powerful than Bowser, and most of his attacks have very good knock back. Is easy to dodge on big stages, can be very dangerous on little ones. Giga Bowser CAN take damage, but it is impossible to send him flying no matter how much damage you inflict. Can still die by falling out of the screen. Does not last as long as other transformation Final Smashes.
14) Konga Beat
Can stun nearby enemies and inflict damage on them. Can put together very good combos but only if done properly. DK is invincible while using this but can not move. Has very little knock back and mediocre damage. Almost impossible to KO someone with. Helpful on small stages but completely useless on big ones.
Adventure
I didn't get to play, nobody did. And there was very little new info. However I did see the end of a cutscene not on Gametrailers.com.
DK and Diddy made it to their kidnapped bananas, and the there are some falling trees and some stomping. Bowser walks in ready to fight. DK and Diddy also get into fighting positions. Basically confirms that Bowser will be a boss for DK and Diddy.
Well, that's all I was able to find out at E For All. Hope there was some new info in there for you!
