Little Mac looks pretty small compared to Samus.

The subspace emnistry looks awesome from this footage!

I'm back from E for All, and bristling with information! I'll put spoiler tags on all this stuff, so you won't see anything you may not want to. But I guarentee you're going to love all of it! :edgy:

First off, however, there were only 14 characters available to play: Mario, Bowser, Peach, Yoshi, Sonic, Fox, Link, Meta Knight, Pit, Ike, Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, Samus, and Pikachu.

Spoiler: Character Colors
• Mario has all his old colors, including his Wario get-up (important for what I'll say for Fox and Peach). He has a new look: Fire Mario (dark red overalls, white shirt and hat). SMBZ fans will love.
• Bowser has two new looks. One is black skin with golden scales and arm bracelets (think bling-bling Bowser), and one is a magma version (molten shell color, dark red skin).
• Peach has all her old dresses, including her Daisy get-up. She also has, finally, a red dress. AROOO!
• Yoshi has no new looks. Foo.
• Sonic is blue for most of his looks, but one is dark gray-blue. His bracers change color the most, gold and blue and red and yellow.
• Fox has a form with dark gray fur, dark blue eyes, gray uniform, he basically looks like Wolf with Fox skin. He has his red, blue, and green outfits, including a light-blue and silver uniform.
• Link has his old tunics, including a gold one (shweet) and a Dark Link, where his skin is dark brown, red eyes, white hair, and dark gray tunic.
• Meta Knight has red, dark green, yellow/pink, and a wicked green/red eyes look.
• Pit has red tunic, blue tunic, gold tunic with gold tinted wings, green tunic, and a black tunic with pure black wings (wickedly).
• Ike has a white, green, red, and cyan look.
• DK's only new look is pure white fur, like an albino or snowman.
• Diddy Kong has a yellow/white, green/red, purple clothes with dark fur, pink clothes with yellow fur, and cyan.
• Samus has her Fusion look (cyan and pink), along with all her old looks.
• Pikachu's blue and green have changed: his blue is the Pichu goggles, and his green is a headband with a Pokéball logo (ninja Pikachu!)

Spoiler: New Moves
• Mario's FLUDD move can be charged, and it can gleam blue when reaches it's max potentional. His old move, Mario Tornado, is his aerial A+Down move. His opening is jumping out a pipe.
• When Bowser uses his forward throw with the claw grab, he does a high and foward somersault, then pile-drives his foe. His fire breathing comes out in fireballs, and his Body Slam (B+Down) creates an impact around him. Bowser enters by being formed from living flames.
• Peach's B+Forward causes a heart and shattering effect on impact rather than an explosion. Her Final Smash puts everyone to sleep, and food spreads out over the field. She enters by floating down on her parasol.
• Yoshi's Egg Roll (B+Forward) will burst upon landing if done from high up. His tail has longer reach, especially in air. He enters in via bursting out of his egg.
• Sonic's normal B move is a chargable move where he'll spin in place, then launch himself at the nearest foe, no guidance needed. That one attack he does in air that looks like Falcon Kick is his normal Aerial down move. He enters by jumping onto the stage in a Spin Dash.
• Fox's B+Up move (Fox Fire) causes multiple hits rather than one solid hit. His reflector works on Yoshi and Diddy's Final Smashes and can KO other people. He enters by jumping off his Arwing.
• Link's moves have all changed as said, nothing more can be added, but he still has great sword moves. Link enters by the teleportation spell from Twilight Princess with the ring around him.
• Meta Knight's B+Forward move has a huge potentional for wracking up damage, and his smash moves are wickedly powerful. His Final Smash must be in front of someone, as he freezes the players, and delievers a superstrong blow to the one(s) in front of him. He enters by appearing out of thin air by his cloak.
• Pit's moves have a lot of spinning involved in them. I'll have to study his other B moves are. He enters by descending from a beam of light.
• Ike's B+Forward is a forward dash attack with very strong hit. B+Down is Counter, just like Marth and Roy. His sword has huge range. Ike's Final Smash must be in front of someone, as he rises this person(s) into the air, strikes violently many times, then drives them down into the ground with a pillar of fire. He enters by transporting in with beams of light forming around and rising around him.
• Donkey Kong is pretty much the same. Sadly, he was least used of all characters (bloody swordsmen were used every fight). He enters by bursting out of the DK barrel.
• Diddy Kong's B+Forward is a flying kick attack that is quite far but not heavy-hitting. B+Down is a banana toss, where he tosses a banana peel behind him, like the item. For his throw grapple, he jumps on his opponent's shoulders, and for the grapple attack, he smacks his foe on the head. His Taunt is he tosses his cap in the air and catches it. (Yes, I played him most.) He enters by bursting out of the DK barrel, and claps happily.
• Samus's Missile (B+Forward) is smaller but still as dangerous. She's pretty much the same otherwise. She enters by stepping out of the Chozo transport.
• Pikachu is all the same too. He enters via Pokéball, and makes a strong pose.

Spoiler: Items
Items
• The Super Bomb from Star Fox has a huge radius, and is not user-friendly.
• A TNT box with very short throw range can be used as a throwing object, and dangerous if struck too much.
• The Lightning Bolt from Mario Kart arrives! You simply have to touch it, and all others are shrunk-ified.
• The Beam Sword (now blue) has returned. Also returning for sure are Star Rod, Paper Fan, Party Ball, Land Mine, Lip's Stick, Ray Gun, Super Scope 6, Fire Flower (which you can move with, really handy), and a few other things.

Assist Trophies
• Drill Dozer is like a slow-moving red shell for the user (doesn't hurt him, though). Really strong AT.
• There was one I couldn't identify, it looked like a marionette. He jumped around and swung swords.

Pokéball Pokémon
• Latias and Latios are of one Pokéball combo, who ZIP across the screen at extremely fast and strong chases.
• Deoxys is EXTREMELY powerful. Beware it. It also makes the background go dark upon firing.
• Entei, Staryu, and Electrode were still Pkmn Pokémon.

Spoiler: Stages
• Pokémon Stadium 2's Ice form has Snorunt and Abomasnow wandering around the back. The electric stage, unseen until now, has three small platforms like Battlefiend, and the bottom is a conveyer belt that moves slow/fast and right/left as it alternates; Electrivire watches from behind.
• The laser in Battleship Halberd does not KO, it just racks up huge damage.
• Norfair has lava that comes from the bottom, left and right and covers half the screen with damaging lava from that side. There is a wave from the background that is impossible to avoid without a good dodge (at least I think), so get to the bottom to avoid being KOed.
• Music was impossible to hear, but I saw different track names, which are displayed in the top right corner.
• The character pictures and icons fade if characters are around them, but the percentage damage does not.
• If the character is knocked into the top corners, there is a diagonal KO impact instead of side or flying into the horizon.

Spoiler: Adventure Mode
• You play as Mario against Kirby at the start, with Zelda and Peach watching fondly (Zelda's smile is rather charming).
• That first movie we saw, where the four pose for fight, you get to select which one you want to play as; co-op play starts here, with one of the other characters. You fight those shrimpy minions.
• After Kirby KOed Petey Piharna, Wario appears in the arena with a big honking gun. In the movie, he zaps poor, injured Zelda with it: a long arrow goes out, strikes Zelda, and turns her into a trophy. Wario takes trophy Zelda (naughty!) and his gun and runs off. Kirby and Peach make their escape via Warp Star before the bomb blows up and land on the Battleship Halberd. The same must happen to Peach if you save Zelda.
• Fox's Arwing is under heavy fire by the Battleship, and then is struck by one of the extendable arms on it. When Fox's Arwing comes too close to the Halberd, the gust of wind knocks Kirby and Peach off, and they have to tranverse through rock and shadow beast infested lands.
• Pit, who was giddly watching the fight until the shadow bomb went off, finds Mario as a trophy in the clouds. Pit revives Mario into a moving being, and the two set off through the clouds; you get to chose who you play as. GREAP is a mini-boss for Pit.
• The DK team one, you have the link.

Anything else you all want me to find out? I gotta say, the graphics and game play are AMAZING! And it's no longer being a punching bag as the big guys like Bowser and DK, there is a lot less 'being pounded' and more fighting. It's a real BRAWL! WHEEEEE!

Magmar Fury, You are simply the best! I don't know how I could thank you enough for sharing all of this juicy information with us. We are in your debt. :garyuu:

I'm kinda glad to see that any character in the original Smash Brothers get back their entrances. And the Star Fox updates (mostly the Super Bomb and what you mentioned in adventure mode) caught me by surprise. And I'm really pleased with the character colors except for Yoshi who got the short end of the stick.

And could the marionette AT been Geno? :yuusaku:

Also, If there is anything you can find out about Smashville or returning items, I would appericate it. :larry2:

You're welcome! :edgy:

About the Super Bomb, it and the Gooey Bomb, can be triggered if they are impacted too hard (like someone hitting them hard). People kept running into the Super Bomb explosion, it was hilarious!

The marionette could not have been Geno. FAR too tall and lanky, looked more purple and green than blue, and it had some kind of weapon in its hands, I think swords or extendable arms. I dunno... it really did look like some kind of robot, hope to see it again tomorrow.

Smashville, well, there is a platform that hovers over the battlefield, going far left to far right on a horizontal base. The civilians watching do just that, watch, drinking coffee; I saw Tom Nook's nephews quite a few times.

As far as other returning items... I remember the Bob-omb, Capsule, Food, Super Mushroom and Poison Mushroom, Star Warp, and Invisibility Star.

EDIT: Oh! And a few other things!
• Characters will now grab a ledge even if they're facing in the opposite direction.
• Diddy Kong's running attack is... yes, the cartwheel attack! WOOT! DKC homage!
• Don't let any other reviews of EforAll misguide you, the booth girls were real charming.

Not to try to outdo Magmar's Fury's Update...

We also have Peach's Final Smash, The Peach Blossom.

Peach get's her groove on as she animates the screen with herself and Peaches drop from trees. Also, Peach's sing voice (which has nicely recovered from the events Super Star Saga) puts everyone else to sleep viva Jigglypuff style. Then the player must decide if you want to pig out or get some knocks outs.

EDIT: Looking at Final Picture of the Update, Look at where Peach is aiming that golf club. Poor Mario! :larry:

Aw man, she's out clubbing... Mario! Must be a lover's spat.

I think the most deadly thing about this is that it works on people in mid-air too, although I may be wrong. But it's the only explanation I can think of why two people were KOed during this. Putting someone to sleep over the pit is a hilariously cruel way to KO someone. *evil laugh*

Oh, and for the victory dances, Peach still has, "Ohhhhhhhhh, did I win?"

Yea, this picture made me laugh evil like, I love Peach!! She seems more awesome to play as atm.

EDIT: Thanks Magmar for the awesome info!! SOOO happy about the character intros, surprised they didn't put Snake or Kirby in the line up though.
Adventure mode is going to be sick, can't wait to see if there's going to be a demo or something in the coming months.

Great job, Magmar! If I can ask: Where did the wave from the background of Norfair actually come from? Norfair is still Ridley's lair..
Also, have you tried wavedashing and all that? :O

Well see, Norfair is a stage over a burning lake o' lava, so when the wave happens, you see this tidal wave start to form up in the back. It slowly approaches, and then covers the entire screen. I'm going to see if dodging works.

As for wavedashing... errr... :bellboy: I don't know how to.

Oh, no problem, it'll probably be plastered on all boards everywhere anyway. Having just completed Super Metroid, I'm loving Norfair already. I hope they add in the awesome Lower Norfair music (for Metroid Prime players: it's in there, too, orchestrated and used at Magmoor Caverns' music.)

Whatever, it's Peach's Final Smash.

But what's more controversial is poor Lil' Mac as an AT..
Though his design is pretty keen.

I do enjoy little mac's design and at least Street Fighter IV was there to console me. I wonder if Ryu's new fighting style talked about in the end of three is going to be canon.

That is correct. Geno weapons were originally his PUPPET HANDS to attack like homing missles.

Peach's final smash sorta lacks the punch the other final smashes have.

True, but an Expirenced Smasher would be able to use this as an advantage to heal (If has lots of damage) or going about ko'ing their oponents.

Or anying the heck out of your friends.

Wavedashing in no longer in the game, that was confirmed by some people on the smashboards who played the demo.

Also all the videos Magmar saw are on gametrailers.com go check them out for epic win!

You can also now trip. If you start to run to the right, but then quickly run to the left, you'll trip and fall on your face. This can be cancelled, too, and in that way gives it a new swing in mindgames.

Where on earth are you finding this info from? I've checked both of the English sites (UK and US) and I can't find it on either of them. :)

I know that. It's just someone posted a screenshot of the trip on Dojo. If it's an elaborate hoax, then they're really REALLY good at it X3

Woohoo! I have more information, then I go back to the last day of E for All!

Spoiler: Game Techniques
• Everyone has 3 taunts now, activated in different ways according to controllers.
• Your character grabs the ledge whether he/she is facing the ledge or not.
• Wavedashing fans will be sad: you cannot move your character in an aerial dodge.
• An interesting thing about charging smash attacks is that characters now shake, lean/pull back, or power up their kicks/punches/headbutts/etc. It makes smashes look more interactive.
• From what I gather, your character has different grapples depending on whether they grab their foe from the front or behind. Most characters simply grab when their foe is facing them, but do some wicked things when from behind (Diddy jumps on shoulders, Snake I am guessing does the incapacitating move.
• If you have gained the Smash Ball, you can use it in midair, and you can lose it if struck (if that happens, the Smash Ball floats around again). If the stage does the damage to 'activate' it (Norfair lava), then it simply vanishes.
• It is a LOT easier to grab items mid-air, running, and even when getting struck.

Spoiler: Items
New Items
• Springboard. You can pick it up and throw it, mostly you use it to BOING high into the air!
• Harry the Hedgehog. Remember the blue porcupine-like mammal from Mario Bros.? He's back, serving as a spiked, damaging mine. Not user-friendly, can KO, shrinks the more characters hit it.
• Flash Bomb. Stuns an opponent, like if their shield shattered.

Assist Trophy
• A new one I cannot recognize. It's a lanky guy in golden armor, who jumps around shooting a ray gun.
• Lyn can jump at opponents. She and Dr. Wright will simply not attack and vanish if no foes ever get near them.
• Drill Dozer and Samurai Goroh can jump up ledges.
• The labador retriever Nintendog is the cutest thing ever.

Pokéball Pokémon
Bonsly. The little tree being is the Mr. Saturn of Pokéball Pokémon. You pick him up and chuck him at others.

Spoiler: New Updates on Characters
• Mario. His FLUDD attack has a strong charge, and when it flashes blue, the spray is very far. Two of his taunts are his Super Mario (old one), and one where he takes his hat off and scratches his head. The cape attack is the perfect counter for Sonic's Spin Dash...
• DK. Donkey Kong's three taunts are his old one ("WAROOO?"), his second he pounds his chest, and the third is he shakes his lips monkey-like. There is also a black-furred DK, if there wasn't one before.
• Peach. Her Final Smash does stun people in mid-air, so if you're over a pit, it's over for you.
• Bowser. His Giga Bowser form, just like in SSBM, has shadow and ice and thunder magic in his physical attacks.
• Yoshi. Indeed, his Egg Throw gives him a small hop in the air, and he can use it as many times as he wants when flying. His tail attacks are longer and stronger.
• Meta Knight. His attacks are weak but very very fast. He racks up damage really fast, and Smashes them out. His B+Down (the cloak) is a small teleport. His Final Smash can only be done with at least one opponent in front of him, or it is wasted.
• Pit. B+Forward is a forward dash where he whirls his blade in front of him. B+Down is a reflector, like Fox's.
• Fox. He's pretty much the same all around, but I notice he doesn't plummet as fast.
• Samus/Zero Suit Samus. Pretty much the same and what you've seen. But I must say, Zero Laser is one of the most dangerous moves.
• Link and Ike. His Final Smash can only be done with at least one opponent in front of him, or it is wasted.
• Sonic. His Final Smash (Super Sonic) cannot go through solid platforms; it is a charging and flying ability, where he has to slam into foes to hurt them and is invincible. His aerial attacks are quite strong.
• Pikachu. His Final Smash (Volt Tackle) CAN go through solid platforms; it normally just damages when ramming, but you must do electric surges for smash potential.

Spoiler: Diddy Kong
As my favorite, I got a ton of information on him.
• His Up Smash is a triple uppercut, like Link's in a way.
• His Forward Smash is two horizontally symmetrical punches.
• His Down Smash is a spining kick attack.
• For his standard attack, he throws a couple punches and kicks, then has a repeating attack whipping with his tail.
• When charging his B move (Peanut Gun), you can tell when it's close to exploding when his hat and gun seriously begin to shake. If it explodes, you're left with a sooted-covered Diddy.
• His B+Up (Barrel Rockets) always goes in an arch, and is chargeable; it packs a mean punch.
• His aerial attacks are quite strong, like Sonic.
• His taunts that I know of are 1.) he tosses his cap in the air and 2.) he faces the screen, jumps from one foot to the other, and claps his hands over his head.

Spoiler: Stages
• Delfino Plaza has water in a couple parts. Characters can swim for a little while, but soon begin to sink. B+Up is best for freeing yourself from water.
• Smashville has some balloons float over the stage, carrying food. Break the balloons for the food to drop.
• Tom Nook appears in his many get-ups in the back. I still have faith, of course.
• For the giant, unavoidable wave of lava in Norfair, one of the five platforms spawns a cage with weak doors. You break open the doors and go in the cage, which seals itself so those inside do not get hurt by the wave. Cage fights ensue for the cage, and can get ruthless if more than one person is locked in said cage.
• Skyworld's breakable platforms have several points. You cannot jump through or drop down the stone platforms, but the clouds you can. You can grab the ledges of the stone platforms, but clouds are unbreakable. In the middle, the stone platforms make it harder to KO people.
• The explosive they use to destroy the Bridge of Eldin is very dangerous for players (amazingly, this doesn't catch on at E for All). Also, it is the most hilarious thing watching players fall into the pit trying to get across and, even more funny, trying to get the Smash Ball.
• In the Flying stage in Pokémon Stadium 2, the three Pokémon flying over the stage are Skarmory, Hoppip, and Driftloom.
• Some tunes I've noticed are Meta Knight's Revenge, Dark World (Hyrule), Menu 1 (SSBB), and Opening (Metroid, Animal Crossing).

***

I gotta say, playing on the Wiimote sideways isn't really easy, but it is fun and quick to trade off. Tomorrow, when I go to the last day, I'll find about crawling, if that's still in the game and how it's done.

Thanks again, Magmar :maya:

Another thing, this site reports what I had already predicted about the icons except that they also have speculation about number 19, something I'd herad about but never saw:

Quote:
All that remains are 15 through 20 and the mysterious absence of number 19. Animal Crossing, Wario Ware, Metal Gear Solid, and Kid Icarus, all of which are new series to Brawl. It would be safe to assume that 19 will be a new series as well. Hmmm... from the looks of it, it doesn't look like we'll be able to discern any predictions from first glance. BUT WAIT! Let's take those series and change them to their translated Japanese names, giving us:

Animal Forest (literal translation from Dobustu no Mori)
Made in Wario
Metal Gear Solid
Myth of Light: The Mirror of Palutena (literal translation from Hikari shinwa: Parutena no Kagami)
???
Sonic The Hedgehog

What does this show us? The names are in alphabetical order. Which would mean that the next series would fall somewhere between M and S. The candidates: NiGHTS, Pikmin, Pac-man, Punch-Out, and Rockman.

Interesting, yes?

Since Punch-Out!! is deconfirmed, I'm going for Pikmin. For Nintendo not to include anything Pikmin would be weird.

Hell yea! I thought Mario didn't have his old Taunt, now I'm never more excited!!

Meta Knight's Revenge music is going to be epic to play with! Since I just play the song when playing DOA, can't wait.

More info from E for All:

Spoiler: Wall o' Text
The game will be perfect. That is what I need to tell you first. The fact I had so much fun with only a demo.....the final product of this game will be amazing.

The gameplay is slower but it is definitely a good thing. It's like a cross between smash 64 and Melee, but better than both. The slower gameplay helps even out n00bs and pros a bit, but not as much as you think.

It's really n00b friendly gameplay but pros can hit almost as well as in Melee, they did a very good job with this. That description doesn't seem to perfectly fit, but I don't really know how to explain it.

2 NEW ITEMS!

1) Deku Nut: Yes, from Zelda. You can pick it up and throw it at people, it can explode and send them flying (about 10 damage but as much knockback as a bob-omb). If it misses anyone even NEAR the explosion is stunned. If you mash buttons you can get out of the stun faster, but if you're the only one stunned then ur still screwed.

2) Lightning: The one from Mario Kart. Pick it up and it strikes everyone on screen (besides you) with lightning and shrinks them.

Known Items

Food: Now in 3D. heals slightly more than it did in Melee. Still mostly pointless unless you can grab a lot of it though.

Maxim Tomato: Same as Melee.

Heart Container: Same as Melee.

Beamsword: This isn't the wimpy beamsword from melee. It's back longer than ever and with almost as much power it had in the original smash (which was a LOT more than melee)

Smoke ball: The smoke makes much more of a difference than you'd think, it really does make it kind of hard to see certain areas. It can also stick to enemies if you hit them with it.

Banana Peel: The only notable thing was that you can actually damage people by throwing it at them.

Spike ball: Might be a gordo from the Kirby series but I'm not sure. Kind of hard to tell. It doesn't seem like you can pick it up since it expands and hurts you whenever you touch it. You can still knock it around with projectile attacks though. Does about 5-10% damage and barely any knock back. Even if it is weak you want to avoid it, it will hurt you just long enough for a nearby enemy to hit with and smash attack.

Bob-omb: Same as melee, slightly less knock back.

Bumper: Same as the first smash, 'cept it floats. No surprises here.

Mr. Saturn: He's back and as useless as ever.

Screw attack: Get screw attacks for a bit, can't throw it anymore, but it sticks to you like the Franklin Badge does so you can grab another item and probably come up with a good way to combo them. Effects of the Screw Attack last for about 10-18 seconds.

Lip's Stick: Mostly same as Melee, flower doesn't last as long on people's heads.

Fan: Same as melee.

Star Rod: Same as melee as far as hitting and firing stars at people go, doesn't have as much knock back when you throw it at people as it did in Melee.

Super/Mini Mushroom: Much harder to tell apart than they were in Melee.

Gooey bomb: I unfortunately never got to see it in action.....

Laser Gun: Almost as good as it was in 64 but it's harder to combo people with it than it was in 64 and melee.

Super Scope: Same as Melee. "Cept you can move around while you use it.

Barrels & Crates: Same as always, cept its impossible for a barrel/crate to explode unless it has the flame symbol. But to make the ones that can explode actually explode you must attack them. They wont explode from throwing them. The ones with wheels do some good damage if they hit you.

Fire Flower: The one in melee sucked. The one in 64 ruled. This is like the one in 64 but u cant keep someone off the edge with it as easily. Does more damage than ever before.

Spring board: The one from the Mario series. You can bounce off of it, and will go about 2/3s as high as Sonic's upB. You can also throw it at someone for 10-15% and decent knock back.

Homerun Bat: Mostly the same, but WAY slower when your trying to home-run somebody.

Hammer: Just as powerful as it was in melee. The head falls off a lot more though, about 1/3 of the time.

Golden hammer: Just as powerful as the site said it was, if not more so. This thing is deadlier than some of the final smashes. Imagine a hammer that can hit 3 times at once and you basically get this.

Motion Sensor bomb: Seems a bit weaker than it was in Melee.

Smart bomb: This is that massive bomb that deals about 70% damage and can KO in one hit. A player can grab and throw it but if they take enough damage while holding it, it explodes in their hands.

Cracker Launcher; Never got to use it myself but it's really powerful. Seems kind of hard to aim it though.....

Pitfall: VERY good item. Hit them with this and you can pwn someone with your most powerful attack to send them flying. You don't have to set it either, you can just chuck it at them and they're stuck.

Franklin Badge: Basically what the site said. Very rare item though.

Super Spicy curry: This thing is cheap......very cheap.....anyone who has played a Kirby game will realize this is more like a Beam Kirby power than what the spicy curry does. 'Cept the beam is constantly going up and down. Decent range too.

The spring Sonic leaves after his upB: I figured this should go in with items...he barely ever leaves it behind, maybe once out of every 10 times or so. It disappears pretty fast too. Doesn't bounce you as high as it did with Sonic. Pretty much a springboard that you can't throw at people.

I think that's all the items....now for pokeballs/ATs.

NEW Assist Trophy

Saaki(sp?): A girl with a gun, she runs around and shoots people. Pretty good. According to the guy behind me in line she is from the game Sin and Punishment. idk for sure though.

Known Assist Trophies

Metroid: This thing kicks ass. Latches on to you, you must attack like crazy to get it off. Normally does around 50% before you can get rid of it.

Hammer Bro: Basically as good as he is in the videos. Not bad.

Drill Dozer: Really good if she hits someone, will sometimes jump to hit an enemy. Wether she turns around or just drives off of a ledge seems to be random so how helpful she is varies.

Never got to see Advance Wars AT.

Dr. Wright: He sucks. Getting launched does no damage and doesn't send you that far at all.

Samurai Goroh: This guy is ****in crazy. He hits FAST! Should do around as much damage as a Metroid, but possibly to multiple characters.

Lyn: It's actually pretty hard to dodge her, and if you get hit you may as well have taken a direct hit from Link's final smash cuz you go flying FAR!

Knuckle Joe: He is actually really good. Very far knock back and fast attacks. An excellent AT.

Little Mac: Like Knuckle Joe, but slower and WAY more powerful. he KO'd a guy when he was only at about 20%. He will jump to get to opponents, or even double jump if they are that high.

Andross: Very hard to doge his attack. A pretty good AT, will probably be in the better half once we see more of them.

Excite Bike:As neat and cool as it is too see little 8-bit bikers run over people it isn't that good. They only have about as much knock back as the unknown pokemon had in melee but are easier to dodge.

Devil: Doesn't make things as hectic as originally thought, but if you take advantage of the situation then this AT can determine the outcome of the battle.

Ressetti: .......he does nothing but ***** at you. However his *****ing is funnier than expected. He is a pretty rare AT.

Lakitu: The spinies do about as much as the excitebikes but are slower, however the fact that they fall from the sky may make them more dangerous.

2 NEW Poke'balls

Latios and Latias: One will come out of the ball and then fly off screen. Then both of them will start flying all around the arena faster than super sonic and doing even more damage. Very good, I'd imagine it's even better when fighting multiple opponents.

Bonsly: He walks around the stage doing nothing. However you can pick him up and hurl him at enemies! XD Very good knock back and damage but you move REALLY slow while carrying him.

Known pokeballs

Kyogre: He floats above the stage and spits water in front of him. Like a bigger, better, flying version of Mario's FLUDD attack.

Groudon: Pretty much what was expected.

Didn't get to see Deoxys.

Didn't get to see Meowth.

Piplup: Surprisingly good, but very easy to dodge. If it hits though then your opponent is pretty much trapped until right before they die.

Torchic: Decent range, but never hit so i dont know how much damage it does.

Munchlax: Moves really fast once he sees an item, so you probably need to get it before he spots it. Will not eat items out of your hands. Will not eat activated pokemon or ATs.

Chikorita: Same as melee.

Goldeen: Still useless. Undecided

Gardevoir: It walks slowly back and forth across the stage with a shield around it, but I have no idea what it does. You can walk in and out of the shield at will so it doesn't stop you from going anywhere. idk, might end up being the bubble shield of Brawl (stops projectiles from entering/exiting) but that is just speculation.

Alt colors

First of all, it was only alt colors for everyone besides Pikachu, there were no alternate costumes.

Mario: They were all the same ones from Melee, although a Fire mario costume was added. However the brown clored one and the Classic Mario (red jeans blue shirt) costumes from Melee were gone.

Yoshi: It was all the same colors from Melee. No Orange, Purple, White, or Black colors were added. Sad

Link: There were Red, Blue, Yellow, White, and Dark Link (TP style) costumes.

Peach: There were Green, Red, and White colors, as well as a Daisy costume again. There were more than just this but unfortunately I can't remember them all.

Meta Knight: It was basically all the alternate colors from Kirby Air Ride except for brown. There was also a black meta with red eyes, I assume this is what Dark Meta Knight from Kirby: The Amazing Mirror looks like but I could be wrong. If this is how Dark meta looks then I guess it could be considered an alt costume. There is also a bat-shaped pattern on the back of his cape, which isn't on the other ones (if it is then it is much harder to see).

Pikachu: Pichu's goggles from Melee, a green head band, and more that I can't remember.

Pit: There were Blue, green, red, and yellow togas. There was also a pitch black one, when this costume was selected Pit also had black wings.

Samus: All of the colors from Melee return, there is also a Fusion suit alt.

ZSS: The only alt I saw for her was a black Zero Suit.

Bowser: Had a some of his costumes from melee (red, black, and green). Also had one with a white shell with parts made of gold.

DK: Had all of the alt colors from Melee as well as a white-fur one.

Diddy: Had green, light blue, white, and pink alt colors. I heard a rumor that he had a Dixie alt costume that lacked hair, but it is untrue.

Ike: Red, white, green, and blue-ish alts. I think there may have been a yellow but I'm not sure.

Fox: Had green, blue, and red costumes. Unfortunately I didn't get a good look at what alt colors Fox has so I only know these 3.

Sonic: One gave his fur a greenish tint and blue wrist bands. Another gave his fur a light blue tint and yellow wrist bands. One he was almost all black but with green stripes on his quills (think shadow but with green stripes instead of red) and green wrist bands. Another was the same as teh Black fur one but with blue stripes on his head and red wrist bands.

Music

I couldn't actually hear any of the music but at the beginning of every fight they show what music is playing. I didn't notice until late in my time at E For All so I didn't get to see much of the music selection but I saw a few. I will list what songs and the stage they were on.

Haliberd:
Gourmet Race

Bridge of Eldin:
Zelda Main Theme
The Darkworld

Battlefield:
Menu 1
Battlefield

Norfair:
Metroid Main Theme
Samus Aran Space Hunter

Lylat Cruise:
Star Fox 64 Main Theme

Castle Siege:
Attack

Norfair

This is WAY funner than Brinstar was. You should know the level lay out and what it looks like by now from videos so I won't go into that.

The lava will occasionally rise, much like it did in Brinstar. However it has less knock back, so although it isn't as likely to KO you at relatively low damage, it is harder to escape once you get burnt and you will gain a lot of damage.

Sometimes when the lava rises there will also be a massive waterfall of lava (a lavafall?) that does huge damage and massive knock back. Getting hit by a bob-omb is more safe than touching this thing! If you are hit by a powerful enough attack then you can be knocked through the lava and will most likely be burnt to a crisp and almost certainly KO'd while you are in the middle of it.

There will also be tidal waves of lava that come from the background, getting hit by this is also an almost for-sure KO and does massive damage. The only way to avoid it (since it covers the entire screen) is to get in a capsule like thing that appears when the tidal wave does. It appears on the upper right or left platform. It has blue walls that you can open by attacking, once open you can get inside the capsule which will close and be un-openable until the tidal wave passes.

It's a shame I can't make this course sound as fun as it really is. It was one of my favorite courses in the demo I played.

Thunder Pokemon Stadium

Background: The area changes so it has a metal ground. There is an Electivire standing in the background, there are also two of what look like power generators.

The Course: There is a medium sized floating platform above the center of the stage, and another smaller one above that. There is also a small platform hanging over the left side of the stage.

The middle of the stage is plain, the "safe" zone without any gimmicks. however the sides (2/3 of the stage) become treadmills. They both move your character to the edge of the stage when you stand on them, and move moderately fast although they are slow enough for you to be able to run back (even though jumping is obviously more effective). The treadmills take you to the edge but the ledges of the stage are still normal so you can ledge grab without getting on the treadmill.

Final Smash Teir List

Keep in mind I only played 1 VS. 1 matches, how good some Final Smashes are likely changes depending on how many people are playing. This is just the teir list for 1 VS 1 matches. I was also unable to try ZSS's FS so it is not on the list.

1) Landmaster

Fox's tank is truly devastating. You are invincible while you use it, can hurt people just by moving into them, can hurt people on you by either barrel rolling OR shooting, can shoot in front of you with a laser beam that is incredibly powerful, AND you can fly. You are practically garinteed a KO to at least one opponent when you use Fox's FS.

2) Super Dragon

Yoshi not only gets flight capabilities and becomes invincible, but also gains some speed. the fireballs he shoots are fast, and have incredibly high knock back. They also do 25% damage per hit, so even if you don't KO someone you will certainly get some damage in. the fireballs work great for large courses like Eldin Bridge while the firebreath is devastating on smaller courses like Battlefield. I was able to KO an opponent twice in one FS with this.

3) Mario Finale

This attack is one of the few FSs that is actually un-dodge-able. No matter what you do you will likely get at least 35-50% damage unless you are Pit (he can fly over it). It also carries you to the end of the stage and launches you off before disappearing so there is a likely chance it will KO you.

4)Palutena’s Army

Pit turns invincible for the 3 1/2 seconds he is summoning Palutena’s Army. Around 12-15 Centurions will dive bomb opponents. High damage, great knock back. Very difficult to dodge all of them. Works well on both one and multiple opponents.

5) Ike's FS

Even though it has short reach, if you are hit with this it is an instant KO. There is nothing you can do after being hit other than watch your poor character get beaten and burned to death by Ike's sword. But it only has about as much reach as one of his A-attacks and is slow. If he misses than his FS is wasted so it is only good in the hands of a skilled player.

6) Meta Knight's FS

Slightly greater distance than Ike's FS but isn't a garunteed KO. However even at 0% damage the only way your opponent will live is if they are stopped by a platform or something while flying up. Incredibly likely to KO.

7) Triforce Slash

It has greater distance than Ike's and Meta's FS but isn't a garunteed KO, even at relatively high damage. However it still has great knock back and great damage so it is likely to kill. If it doesn't then you still gave your enemy 40-60% damage anyway.

8) Peach Blossom

Allows you to heal yourself which is very good. Should also allow you to hit every opponent at least once. Not a very offensive Final Smash but VERY good if your opponents have high damage percentages. It is a very poor Final Smash however if Peach and all opponents have low damage percentages as healing will not effect the match much and hitting opponents with a charged smash attack won't be very effective. Waiting for opponents to get high percentages can be dangerous due to the fact that they can knock the Smash Ball out of Peach and take it for themselves if she doesn't use it.

9) Zero Cannon

Is very hard to dodge but can be done by characters like Pit and Meta (it is assumed Kirby and Jigglypuff will also be able to dodge this). The most damage you will take from this is around 80%, but that is at point blank, you have to be standing directly in front of Samus when she uses her FS to take that much. The minimum amount of damage seems to be around 30%. Has very little knock back at low percentages but massive knock back at high ones. Turn into ZSS after using it.

10) Super Sonic

Invincibility and flight is nice, but it is somewhat hard to control. It takes a while to change directions when steering Super Sonic which gives your opponents enough time to get ready for your next attack. It is also some-what easy to dodge this if you are good at rolling and air-dodging. Can end when you are away from the stage, and if it does then you can not double jump, air dodge, or use the Up B to get back to safety. Should be able to hit each opponent at least twice even if they are good at dodging. Good damage and high knock back.

11) Volt Tackle

Basically a slower and easier to control version of Super Sonic. Damage is about the same but knock back isn't as far. It is however easier to control and harder to dodge making it easier to hit opponents. Good for people who have trouble controlling Super Sonic. Can end when you are away from the stage, and if it does then you can not double jump, air dodge, or use the Up B to get back to safety.

12) Rocketbarrel Barrage

Invincible, slower and harder to control than Super Sonic and Volt Tackle. The peanuts fired are not very effective, they have decent damage and good knock back, but most can be dodged and there won't be enough hits to actually KO anyone unless they are already at very high damage. Can end when you are away from the stage, and if it does then you can not double jump, air dodge, or use the Up B to get back to safety.

13) Giga Bowser

More powerful than Bowser, and most of his attacks have very good knock back. Is easy to dodge on big stages, can be very dangerous on little ones. Giga Bowser CAN take damage, but it is impossible to send him flying no matter how much damage you inflict. Can still die by falling out of the screen. Does not last as long as other transformation Final Smashes.

14) Konga Beat

Can stun nearby enemies and inflict damage on them. Can put together very good combos but only if done properly. DK is invincible while using this but can not move. Has very little knock back and mediocre damage. Almost impossible to KO someone with. Helpful on small stages but completely useless on big ones.

Adventure

I didn't get to play, nobody did. And there was very little new info. However I did see the end of a cutscene not on Gametrailers.com.

DK and Diddy made it to their kidnapped bananas, and the there are some falling trees and some stomping. Bowser walks in ready to fight. DK and Diddy also get into fighting positions. Basically confirms that Bowser will be a boss for DK and Diddy.

Well, that's all I was able to find out at E For All. Hope there was some new info in there for you!
