EXACTLY! Could someone please tell me what makes 3-5 so much more awesome than every case in the game so that I may be more inclined to believe it rather than thinkg 2-4 > every other case in the trilogy? Sure, I thought it was a great case but definitely not the best in the series. Why is this case so overhyped? Lame deus ex machina, lame final boss, lame final-final boss, etc.
The only part I actually liked was handling Edgeworth. Unlike Phoenix, he's on top of everything, acts like he has every advantage, rarely flinches, and pointing out contradictions with him was more confortable than with Phoenix. I like the guy but he's such a worrywart and too sarcastic for my liking. Edgeworth, on the other hand, is calculating, methodical, always one step ahead of his adversary, and his "OH SNAPPLE" animation is priceless! Other than that, the only thing I found shocking was that

I also wish the ending had wrapped up a bit neater. I was glad that Phoenix's trilogy was finally coming to and end, but COME ON! What about poor ol' Godot? Never got to see Mia again! Where's the huge celebration at the end? Why the lame plot devices? I was expecting something epic, not watered-down-half-mind-blowing. It would have been more awesome if Dahlia had been playing everyone for all three parts and bringing her and Godot down at the same time, not killing her off in the second part of the trial. The case could have easily ran for three days, but it only went for two. WTF? =/
I repeal my previous thoughts. 2-4 > 3-5. I still like it but it receives far too much credit for its own good.

AGREED. This case was THE BEST of the PW series, it was EPIC and tied up a lot of loose ends.
@ the people who are complaining about the ending:
You can't always have a series end the way you want..... I think the current ending is more than satisfactory.

No, no it is not "epic". Not on the scale of the other final cases. There are only really two new characters that you interact with at all, only three with pasts that are a mystery to you.
2: It ties everything up
There wasnt very much that needed tying up except for misty feys fate and godots past. Both of these are explained well, but the rest of the games ending SUCKED.

Overall, there were only about 5 real, honest to god plot twists...which hardly compares to 2-4 or even 1-5. TnT's overall plot sucks, and while 3-5's characters are good they dont warrant the blue ribbon of genius that everyone is giving this case.

Fuck you, 4chan.Yeah, it was a really well-done case. Two things stand out, though:
The ending. Everyone complaining about this is totally freaking right. The ending was crappy. There was very little closure, and I was half hoping for a half hour of dialogue, not the paltry 10 minutes or so that there was. Sure the pictures at the end were nice, but so what? Where was the content there? It felt like there was nothing really resolved.
The length. 2-4 was so much longer than 3-5, as were 1-4 and 1-5. What the hell. I can understand 1-5 being longer, but I was really expecting more stuff to go on in 3-5 that just didn't happen. Rather disappointing, really.

I liked the case because alot of the stuff prior to this case built up into it, but the case itself was no where near as suspenseful as 2-4, and alot more predictable as far as what happened (the whole Dahlia/Iris thing at the very end... though... that was great. Its just really shitty how nothing was elaborated on what happens afterward, and how game 4 doesn't even go into anything from the original trilogy, let alone bring many old faces back besides Phoenix.) (I guess it boils down to the only big part of case 5 that I loved was Iris. Great character, and Phoenix and Iris definetly need to get back together somehow in game 5. I don't care how. I demand to see more of

in the future games.)So if I had to vote the "final" cases of the first 3 games... Id have to put them in the following order
2-4 > 1-4 > 1-5 > 3-5.
If I had to pick the 4 top cases it would be.
(in no particular order)

The reason I didn't put 3-5 on there was because I really didn't like the "ending" (or in my opinion lack there of.)

Don't get me wrong, I still liked the case, but I think maybe 2-4 was a bit more epic as a whole. Each case had a theme to it: 2-4 was "To what extent will you defend justice?" and 3-5 was more "How far would you go to protect something dear to you?" I guess looking at that point, 2-4 was more personal to me, considering the fact that they actually made you choose an option in the game. Later on, Mia (channeled through Pearls) asks Phoenix (or you) about his definition of justice and reminds you about that decision you had to make during the court session. As she said "That is your answer," it felt like she was talking to me o_o.. and I was like whoaaaaa.. In 3-5, you just sit there listening to Godot's monologue and his definition of devotion. As sad as it is, I wish they had gripped my heart a bit more like 2-4 did. Buuut I'm just being really nitpicky at this point. I still liked the case very much, and I ranted about the ending in another thread, so I'll leave it at that lol. It's still a nice wrap-up to the trilogy, but I think it could've been better.
