You have to admit though, a lot of clues fit into place with her =p I still say it would have been satisfying if she really were MaskDeMasque.
I relent and agree that a number of things in the game hinted towards it. I just suspect that most of them would have blown right over my head if I hadn't seen this thread first.

If, at least, to question her further on Ron's whereabouts, his MaskDeMasque obsession, and for breaking and entering someone's house to steal his private property/crime evidence.
Honestly, so disappointing...I would love to see how she would interact with both Nick and Godot in that respect.

I know! I hate it sometimes when you're not sure if something is MEANT to be exaggerated, or must be taken seriously in the context of the case =/
I've realised though, that you're not meant to point out anything about a character unless it's clothing.

I REALLY want to put her on the witness stand for cross-examination! Seriously, her 'alibi' is watertight? Sure, but only when we find the officer who supposedly stopped her! So many possibilities...makes me want to write an alternative ending, or something, heh.

That's a good point. Also brings up the idea that the guy in the photo couldn't be Terry because he doesn't have an iron ball!
Well, no, apparently the ball disappears mysteriously when that photo is taken =/
Similarly, we are left guessing exactly HOW Atmey's nose is squished supremely flat while masquerading as MaskDeMasque in his submitted photo.

Good point. Although she reveals that apparently she thinks Ron is totally chivalrous, somewhat brave (?), because he gives prior warning before going to steal the World Treasures.
Granted, the security systems for such treasure might include lasers and death-traps, so yes, Ron could be 'brave'...
...mostly though, Dessie has very ambiguous morals. Especially when it comes to getting money, or something to sell for more money.

I can imagine CAPCOM originally having either Dessie murder Kane Bullard (sad, but MAN would that be badass!), or possibly and really shockingly, have Ron (prolly accidentally) kill him.
I mean, Ron was strong enough to drag a huge man's dead weight and lift him off the ground and stuff him into a safe. If he were to suddenly panic, I can imagine him accidentally killing Bullard in the struggle.
Anyway, it seemed so close to a real tragedy like that...
...until they realised T&T is OMFG depressing and they decided to leave us with one insanely happy couple ^^
(who I might add don't get enough fanfiction, if at all. Where's the het love people!)

I did think she was the killer at first, mostly because I talked myself into deciding it couldn't be Luke since he was at Lordly Tailor at the time.
Then someone (I think it was either Maya or Godot) reminded me that Dessie was at the police station that night so I was like "Well, hell, I don't know how but it MUST have been Luke so I'll just go with it and figure it out later..."

My initial theory was that Ron was indeed the thief and he was in cahoots with Luke. Partially correct.
Edit: I disqualified her because she had an alibi: being pulled over for a ticket.

Besides, Dessie had a really fiminine figure, and enormous boobs. My male friend kept staring at them when he was watching me play. DeMasque had a pretty male figure, and a completely flat chest, so that kind of ruled her our for me.
