Hi-ho everyone!

So we all get national stereotypes right? Take me for being scottish:

Haggis
Kilts
Bagpipes
And 'HOOTS MON.'

YEah you get the idea! BUT! I want to know, how do you stereotype yourselves? Or rather, what are the 'national stereotypes' for you in it's most literal meaning?

The Scottish one is, Nothing is ever good. EVER. And we WILL complain about anything, Sunny weather? 'OOoooooch, We'll pay for it later, mark my words, we'll pay.'

And don't try to bring religious war to glasgow (or Edinburgh, thinking about it). You're well behind. We have FOOTBALL TEAMS on the subject.

We're also one of the only countries you can see policemen walk down a close, smell the weed, take a deep sniff and keep walking.

Aye. It's dreek here.

So! WHat are your 'lesser known' or personnel... lets call them 'views' of your home? It can be your country, your city, county whatever! I wanna here em!

Oh, c'mon, surely we've got more stereotypes than just those? Umm, I don't think I stereotype myself... does disliking the English count as stereotypically Scottish? If so, I am moderately guilty.

Well I think that American's think that anybody from Europe automatically hates them for some weird reason >.>

But uh, I'm asian, so I'll give you some normal ones.
- I'm really good at math
- I can only date asian guys
- I can only date once I'm like, out of high school
- All my friends are asian, and somehow look like me
- I've gotten straight A's since grade school.
[Cause I'm Filipino]
- I will become a nurse
- My parents/aunts will live with me for the rest of my life. Even after I get married.
- I speak "Filipino" >.>

Eh.
I'll think of more either.
Those are the ones I can think off.

If you were to sterotype me for the particular council estate I grew up on, I would be;

- A mother of 2 (to different dads)
- A chav
- Constantly stoned
- A binge drinker
- A complete slut
- Jobless

......

4 out of 6 ain't bad though (LMFAO I'm totally kidding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111)

I do tend to sterotype people from my town as being loud and annoying.

Oh and coz I'm Northern I'm probably seen as a ladette :edgy: (although I do like to drink pints so it's not totally false)

I doubt you need to look further then Frankie Boyal.

Ooh, this could be fun. <3

OK, I live in America, which, whenever I talk to international friends, a few start to sterotype me with the "Loud, obese, obnoxious" and whatnot. I hope I don't fit into any of those, except I know too well my voice is far too loud dispite my attempts to control it.

Uhh, tracing back family history, Dah's family comes from Germany ((his Dad did, his Mum's family came from Austria, last I recall)), and Mum's from Holland. Now, since I've taken an interest in learning German since everyone in Dah's side of the family ((with the exception of Dah)) learned it.

... I cannot tell you how many people have called me a Nazi. It gets... really aggrivating, to say the least.

As for our town? A lot of people are known for being rich and flashy. Our family lives pretty comfortable, but we don't live in style or flash, showey sort of thing.

So... let's see what this gives us all:

Loud, overweight, obnoxious, rich snob Nazis.

... Holy Heck.

I can assure you I'm not any of these. ; ; Or so I should hope. *Whimper*

Let's see... I grew up in a middle-of-nowhere farming town. Therefore, I must:

-Know everything there is to know about horses
-Drive a tractor and/or a pickup
-Love football and have a great big Nebraska Cornhuskers flag hanging outside my window
-Go deer-hunting
-Have an FFA jacket and a handful of range judging medals
-Use "howdy" as a greeting
-Be technologically clueless

...and let's face it, most of the population of my hometown was some combination of the above. But I lived in-town, and my dad practiced law, so I was pretty much the opposite of everybody else. (Might explain why I always had such a hard time making friends.)

All my friends say I'm in the mafia and they all think they're joking. Although since I live in Canada, this isn't really a stereotype about where I live.

Let's see... hm... I can't really recall anyone stereotyping me based on where I live.

Same with me.
Add "gun owner" and "right wing", and you have the definition for redneck.

And no i'm not a redneck.

Everyone rides a horse to school/work.
Everyone owns a cow.
Everyone owns a gun.
Everyone wears cowboy hats and boots.
Everyone voted for Bush.
Everyone is a Baptist

Oh, I've heard a few things about Californians:

    Everyone lives in Hollywood.
    Everyone lives in San Fransisco.
    We're all rich as hell.
    We're all hippies.
    We're all gay.
    We're all gangsta.
    Our cows are happy.
    Everyone does drugs.
    Everyone can surf.
Everyone says "dude" (okay, that's true).
Our governor can kick ass (also true).

I never wanted to be a Pokemon.

Anyways, I have dreamt of being at Nintendo for quite a while... even way before I joined CR.

Also a certain Game maker from Nintendo is inspiration to this goal.

I live in Texas, so I
- am a Cowboy (am not)
- ride a horse (hell no)
- own a gun (kinda true. I own it but don't have free access to it)
- talk like a redneck (FUCK no)

I'm Mexican, so I
- Speak Spanish (Momma never taught me)
- Love tacos (preferably fajitas)
- Crossed the Border (I was born in Austin)

I'm Black, so I
- am a gangster (I talk like one)
- wear the bling (Just a nice watch and a chain)
- live in the ghetto (no)
- hate white people (some of my best friends are white)
- voted for Obama (I voted for Obama for reasons OTHER than his race)
- can get any girl I want (I wish)

I'm Chinese, so I
- Eat Chinese food everyday (nope xD)
- Speak broken English with a funny accent (Again, no. But I have occasional grammatical errors from being careless :chinami: )
- Have yellow skin (Why did I think of that? :chinami: )
- Speak Chinese fluently (Sometimes. :yogi: )
- Drink poisoned milk DX (I have never touched any type of milk for years, except for chocolate milk. :pearl: )
- Have buck teeth (Ew. No.)
- Practice traditional Chinese stuff (The closest thing is the herbal medicines my mum make sometimes. Go on, I dare you to try it. :franny: )
- Wear traditional Chinese clothes (Nothing like that in my closet. :sassy: )

And the list goes on and on... :yogi:

I am German, thus I must be a Nazi. I eat nothing but pretzels and sauerkraut and drink 2 litres of beer a day. At least. When I get up in the morning I put on my dirndl (leather pants when I feel androgynous) and go tend sheep in my back garden. During lunch break I shave swastikas in the sheep's fur and burn down synagogues.

I'm an American, therefore, I must've tried any and all of the following, Beer, Wine, Smoking. (Never, and I never intend to)

Lesse, I'm from Connecticut, so that must mean bringing up the Yankees and/or Red Socks must be fight'n words. (Nope, I don't follow sports much, let alone Baseball. Though I come from a family of Red Socks fans).

I live on a farm, therefore I must harvest Apples or something. (Nope, it's a sheep-dog herding site).
Own a gun, (I'd never touch one)
The Family Truck has a woody. (Yep)
I can drive a Tractor, (Yep)
Own a Guard Dog (Nope, we've got a Guard DONKEY! It's actually killed at least 3 Coyotes, a deer or two, and once kicked the eye out of a sheep. It dangled for a day or so.)
Goats eat anything. (Actually, they practically do. But they'll only stay interested for a few minutes, then wander off to try something else)

Um, that's all I can think of.

I'm from Devon, so we spend all our spare time at the pub drinking cider. We all sound like the Wurzels and even the newborn babies own a tractor. Everyone lives on a farm and we get lost at the concept of cities and mass corporates.
I used to wear glasses, so I was blind, but I knew everything and loved the Sciences. I also threw like a girl even though I am one.
*all false, apart from the fact I live in Devon and used to wear glasses. I kind of got picked on for wearing glasses so I wear contacts now.*

I'm a male, therefore, I am:

a rapist
a sexist
thinking exclusively with my penis
dumber than a bag of rocks
a scourge to society

Also, I am an American, therefore I am:

fat
stupid
lazy
egocentric
and wasteful.
I yell "OBJECTION!" in the court sometimes!

I'm Jewish, therefore that means:

-I'm cheap and only care about money (not true.)
-I'm a bad tipper (I'm more generous if anything.)
-I want to become an accountant (HELL no. I'm going to a school for cartooning. Although my dad said years ago, when I was looking for colleges, that I should go into accounting...wtf Dad)
-I have a freakishly big nose (Ew no. At least I don't think so...)
-All Jewish men have beards (Not in my family at least)
-We all have curly hair. ( My dad does, and so does my sister. I'm so thankful I get my hair my from mom's side :D)
-All the men wear yarmulkes all the time. (Only on the holidays. But besides that, only the religious folks do.)
-I keep kosher (We're supposed to but not really xD;)
-I rest on the Sabbath day (Once again we're supposed to but we don't)
-Hasidic Jews do it through a hole in the sheet (Rabbis and relatives have told me it's a total myth.)
-We only eat lox and bagels for breakfast and gefilte fish and matzoh balls soup for dinner.
(I HATE seafood. Except for shrimp and crab, which is ironic because Jews aren't supposed to eat shellfish LAWL. I do love bagels though. My parents like to eat lox and bagels every few days. Gefilte fish is ok, but we've only eaten them on holidays. I LOVE matzoh ball soup, but once again we usually have it during the holidays. I do order matzoh ball soup at a deli once in awhile...)

I'm from Quebec, ergo...
-I wish for the destruction of Canada and will gladly blow up some shit to do so.
-I am a xenophobic, anglophobic shell of a man.
-I speak french, therefore I wanna have sex with men exclusively along other supremely tasteful stereotypes.
-Every single stereotype from Canada as well (Eh? and others)

I happen to be bisexual as well, so...
-I am a complete slut (OKAY so this one is actually true, whodathunkit?)
-I date one guy AND one girl at the same time, at all times.
-I am also a catty bitch.
-I'm gay, I just don't want to admit it.

AND I happen to wrestle (not for a living, I'd be dirt poor if that was the case), so...
-I will die from one of the following causes : A mishap during a show (oh hai Owen Hart), steroid abuse (oh hai Davey Boy Smith), painkiller abuse (oh hai Eddy Guerrero), killing my wife and child (oh hai Chris Benoit) or by suicide (oh hai Eddie Graham, Mike von Erich, Ed "The Bull" Gatner, Chris von Erich, Tojo Yamamoto, Kerry von Erich, Big E Sleaze, The Renegade (and he has the most pathetic suicide story of all), Shoichi Arai, Mike Awesome, and to complete the list, Chris Benoit, after killing his wife and child!)
-I'm an uneducated hick.
-I will go completely batshit insane before the end is through (oh hai Jim Hellwig ULTIMATE WARRIOR)
